Mindless Matters
The best sushi burrito I have ever had!!! The fish is super fresh and delicious. The miso soup was good. The dragon roll amazing. So pleased to have found a great quality sushi place here in Truckee. Very reasonable prices and big portions. I will be coming back to try more of the menu.

The lady was not having a good day when I came in and couldn't care less about giving a smile. Food was ok but would not cut it in a city with other poke spots. Limited to three toppings for poke (imitation crab is not included and considered a protein) and the California roll was sad. Cya!

The tempura shrimp tasted like it was made last week then stored in the fridge. The crunch roll was falling apart, but the spicy tuna was decent.

WOW, we have been wanting to go here for quite sometime as we're 25+ year locals who are absolutely fatigued & disgusted by the RIDICULOUS pricing at restaurants in Truckee for, typically, mediocre food. We heard it was good, we were excited for something different beyond Mexican food, pizza & bar food & we were not disappointed. My son & I each got a poke bowl & we loved that we could choose a few proteins, our toppings, sauces & toppings & everything was VERY good (the regular size is a huge portion). My husband got a sushi burrito which is cleverly wrapped in seaweed versus a tortilla. His was excellent too. This place it counter service with a few plastic-y- tables so there's not much ambiance & no beer/wine but that's ok. It's terrific for a simple but delicious meal. We've told lots of other locals & will be back soon. We want to see this place succeed.
Amazingly delicious and affordable pokebowls and rolls! They only serve in take out boxes, so it is a perfect picnic lunch to take to a beautiful spot in nature to enjoy your meal.

My new fav sushi and poke bowl spot in Truckee!! The most reasonably priced sushi in town and the quality is really solid for what you’re paying. My fav is the sushirrito! I love ordering takeout then having a picnic in this picturesque town. So thankful that this spot opened up here!

Wow the poke here was so fresh and delicious! And I don't know what they do with the pickled ginger, but its really tasty too (maybe made in-house?).
