Mostly designer hot dogs and sausages. Good but not spectacular. Great atmosphere, sitting ouside at Donner Summit. Worth going just to sit outside and have a beer or hard cider.
Vegetarian options: A couple of veg options
Kid-friendliness: Great for families
Parking: No problem.

Great staff and food. Beautiful place. Live music on Saturday is awesome.
They tow cars in this lot. DO NOT try to park here to play in the snow.
Always closed up tight. Private parking lots that keep everyone out. Unfriendly type place. Great outdoor Historical presentations across the street to the West w some parking. Great area to start mountain adventures start here.
Super nice skate and snowboard shop with all the accessories and a solid service / tune squad.
Nice spot for trail heads
Since the reviews so far don’t have details, this is a lunch site from July 4th through Labor Day. They are open 11-4pm Friday through Sunday, and are part of Sugarbowl. Small menu of sausages and specials, and small selection of beer and wine. A nice spot to start or end a hike, with many options to explore nearby.
Great place to take photos and enjoy the sunrise or sunset!
Great local place

A great place for transcontinental railway history buffs & film crews
Not a restaurant. Maybe it was but closed for the season? Windows are covered with Manila paper.
