My daughter and I come in every few weeks to share a medium cup of fro-yo. We usually spend about $7-$8 with tip. We only get sprinkles as a topping so that price really is just the weight of the fro-yo which I think is pretty fair. I like that there are rotating flavors and dairy free, low fat and fat free options. The POG flavor is so tart and sour, but I like it! It's usually pretty quiet inside and there are quite a few benches outside.

We liked some of the frozen yogurt flavours. It has quite a load of selections of toppings. More frozen yogurt flavours would be great. All in all a positive experience!

During our anniversary getaway, my wife and I found this frozen yogurt place located in Truckee Crossroads shopping center in Truckee, CA. This frozen yogurt place is self serve and the price is based on the weight of the total amount of frozen treat with toppings which is 74 cents per ounce. The staff member was courteous and ambiance was cozy and casual. I liked the fact that it had nonfat sorbet since I'm lactose intolerant and this frozen yogurt place had my ideal dessert. I got the Hawaiian Delight with popping boba. I loved it and we will come back whenever we are in the area.

Hubby and I decided to stop in for dessert. We both decided to get the Hawaiian Delight Sorbet(Non-Fat & Dairy Free) with Mango Popping Boba, Strawberries & Toasted Coconut. We loved this sorbet so much that we came back 2 additional times just to order it again! 5/5 stars for this incredible combination and I love how they use biodegradable wooden spoons! I would HIGHLY recommend this small business that opened in December of 2015 by a husband and wife team! Throughout the shop you'll notice some fun and funky artwork by various artists, including a beautiful painted rainbow window! Summit Swirl has 8 rotating flavors of froyo, sorbet and gelato, so there's something for everyone! Best of all it's self-serve and the employees are so nice! I love this place and come at least once every time I'm in Truckee, even in the middle of winter. They do a great job rotating flavors and always have a good mix of sweet ice-cream-like types (Vanilla, Cake Batter) and fruit flavors (Pineapple, POG, Blueberry). Great set of toppings, including my favorites (mochi, popping boba, white chocolate chips) and fresh fruit. It's maybe not the cheapest but that's also my fault for every time getting a large and packing it to the brim.
