They are still operating as if Covid protocols were in place. Only two parties are allowed in the store at a time and you cannot view the entire offerings. No other store is operating like this. Very uninviting atmosphere.

Well the staff is so kind but today I got hot chocolate for my girls and asked if it’s made of chocolate syrup or just chocolate itself and they said it’s just chocolate and milk which was unfortunately not true. The hot chocolate was made of chocolate syrup!

Rude staff, and most disgusting coffee ever:I went to this store to get hot latte today evening 23-Feb, as all other coffee shops closed at 5:00 pm.The staff was rude in the first place.Still being cold outside, I thought of ordering hot latte and a chai tea.Believe me, it was the worst latte you can ever get. The hot chai tea was just like hot milk without sugar with no flavor at all.And the hot latte was almost the same with just a mild negligible taste of coffee beans. Both the cups had to be trashed.I will never ever get coffee from this shop, and would never recommend anyone doing the same.Better get a regular coffee from a gas station . It will taste hundred times better than the hot lattes, cappuccino etc from this store.

Probably the only thing worth doing in Truckee is visiting this shop. The raspberry truffles are probably the best I’ve ever had.

Super rude staff, rigid with in-store discipline of regimented order, felt like we were prisoners in Siberia. They do not allow casual browsing. "Stop! Wait to enter. Now go! No you can't look around. What are you buying?" ... My answer: nothing, from people who treat customers like this.

Such a cute shop! I didn't try anything but everyone in my large group had a treat and absolutely enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and explained what everything was. I had just eaten but really wanted to try a Carmel Apple, they looked delicious. Instead, I took in the different scents and wished I wasn't so stuffed. I'd definitely try something if I went back.

There are many kinds of chocolate. Each chocolate pairs differently with other flavors. This is where Chocolatier (Chef of Chocolate) Preston Lillo is skilled in pairing chocolate and caramel with other flavors around the world. He has two locations which he visits everyday. If your lucky you will get to meet him when you visit and he loves to discuss this process of making truffles and fudge along with other goodies. He truly has that passion to achieve perfection. We tried 12 different truffles and 6 different fudges. You can't go wrong with here. Fun to find the flavors you like best. I want to thank Preston for taking the time to explain his process. We enjoyed all we brought home. So, check out one of his locations.

If you’re a peanut butter & chocolate lover like I am, grab their peanut butter chocolate fudge! Beautifully marbled, so rich and delicious.

Avoid. I get that you have a way of doing things. It's your store, but there's no reason to be rude. Unless you're not interested in repeat business.

The chocolate caramel corn I purchased was too brittle and tasted stale. Also, they only allowed you to enter a small cramped part of the store and you were not allowed to browse.

Quality was terrible. Apples are old. I spent $40 and everything was inedible.

We’ve visited this location four times and the service is consistently bad. They oddly still expect customers to follow Covid distancing (as of august 2023). They also yell at you if you browse. Customers must stay in line and wait for an employee to assist. The employees are usually snarky, impatient, and seemingly eager to end their shift (and check their phones). Prices are on the high side since the store caters to tourists.

I love this little spot... sadly we are all our treats before I could take pictures!! Service is friendly once you arrive at your "station", guy policing the queue could be a smidge more smiley with reminders, but that's okay. The moment you hit the door you are in heaven with the smell of fresh fudge and other treats in the works. I loved the traditional caramel apple with peanuts. My daughter enjoyed the coconut haystacks and Oreo Blast candy, though it's seriously sweet and good in small doses. Their toffee is fabulous and I enjoyed the milk chocolate honeycomb (though I thought it would be an actual honeycomb.Best of all??? THEY SHIP!!!

An encounter in chocolate buying somewhere in between drill camp and kindergarten but squarely the most demeaning shopping for candy you will ever experience. Your reward if you strictly adhere to the orders being barked at you is chocolates that do not nearly measure up to your standard See's, poor selection and price gouge beyond tourist trap expectations. Steer well clear!

Sure, go in if you want to be chastised for entering or browsing. Check out Seinfeld Season 7, Episode 6 for a preview of what to expect from the people who run / work at this business.
