I've been coming to Uncorked for years and they've fueled our Sierra adventures in both sun and snow, alike. I've become good friends with the staff and both owners, Chris and Kel, and it's taken me too long to leave a review.
Uncorked has, hands down, the BEST selection of wines in the Tahoe Basin. Their staff's knowledge is top notch, their pricing is incredibly fair and their hospitality is warm and genuine. You could blindly pick a bottle off the shelf and be guaranteed it will be good whether you're looking for a pricey special occasion wine or an every day porch pounder.
If you're in Tahoe City or staying at Palisades or North Star, don't fret because they have locations there as well. Every single shop is just as good as the last. Oh! And and Uncorked at Northstar is a full-scale restaurant that is the best food in the resort, no question about it!

I went in to this establishment on Saturday with a party of 9 beautiful black ladies and we were given subpar service. The bartender and owner were very dismissive towards us. I have been to several wineries big and small and still did not ever receive the type of treatment I experienced. It was a very disappointing experience
