i asked for a supreme pizza and they gave me not enough meat and waayyyyy to many tomatoes, and the crust was soggy and the veggies weren't crisp. wings were good and sauce didn't run out but overall it was a little to pricey for the quality. service was okay and the interior looks nice.

Got the job done. I think at this point its hard going to pizza places because im spoiled in the Bay. But Village Pizzeria definitely is a solid option if you are thinking of Pizza/Italian. I think what I liked here the most was how homey it was. I feel like if I grew up in Truckee this probably would be one of the Pizza places you grow up with. It's that old mom and pop pizza place thats been around for a minute. I loved all the cozy booths and how nice all the employees were. But the pizza is a different story. The sauce didn't really do anything to blow me away. I feel like it could of used some more herbs to bring out the flavors but again not the worst. I also wasnt too impressed by the cheese. Me and my buddy ordered a Pepperoni pizza which was fine. But I was really hoping to get a lot of cheesy flavor from our others friends' Quattro Formaggio. With all the cheese that it comes with, the quality just fell a little short in each bite. I do wanna mention however that though im not normally a crust guy when it comes to pizza, I really thought the crust on both pizzas were perfect. Its a little thick but soft in the middle. Paired with a little sauce and cheese thats left with each slice, the crust really brings everything together. On a similar note, another person at the table ordered a pasta which came with toasted bread which was divine. So again overall I think we had a decent experience. If I came again I think I might try a pasta.

This place was delicious the food was amazing we will definitely be back. The staff was super friendly and on top of everything. We visit Truckee often so we will definitely come back.

This is by far the worst pizza experience I have ever had. THe pizza was a frozen DiGiorno topped with old lettuce, the pizza was horrible uneatable, the wings were wrong, the salad we ordered was just like nothing I have ever seen in a restaurant. What restaurant does not have ice tea?? The restrooms were extremely dirty no soap or toilet paper.What establishment does not honor a military discount for our veterans!!! :-( :-(. I plan to call and find out who the owner is and demand a refund!! DO NOT EAT THERE. I would not recommend this place not on my worst enemy!!

The pizza here is okay for where we are located. We decided to come here because it was next to where we are staying, truckee inn. They give a lot of pineapple on our pizza so we like that a lot. The pizza here aren't thin or thick crust. Just your typical regular bready style pizza similar to fast food chains. If you are getting a salad, ask for more sauce. Our salad practically had no sauce on it. It was dry lettuces. That was very disappointing after we already took the salad back to our inn.

We drive from Roseville just to have this pizza at least twice a month. Most amazing pizza and pasta we have had in years!! Awesome service and a great atmosphere.

Great pizza at a fair price. Get there early or you may wait for a seat. Try their breadsticks with cheese, delicious. Anyone of their pizzas are fantastic. Their pasta, specifically their lasagna is outstanding.

They messed my order up. Wrong crust. Simple one pizza to go order at 4:15pm, they were not busy. Tried to order the cornmeal deep dish and got all the way back to Serene Lakes to discover order was wrong. So bummed....

I will drive 10 hours to eat pizza at this pizzeria. I refuse to leave the Tahoe area without eating here at least once. Best pizza ever! The crust and everything is so good. Also reallyyyy love their garlic chessy bread. Even though I get massive heartburn it’s so worth
