12/24/22: this place is no longer White Rabbit :( we went and the employees informed us this is now a burger joint called Incline Burgers and Brew.
Yummy tonkatsu ramen. The miso ramen had surprisingly no saltiness to it, which tasted strange. The mochi donuts were good, but be aware that they have nothing to do with the classic 'pon-de-ring' mochi donuts. Everything unfortunately way overpriced.
My partner is a ramen chef and was very excited when they heard a of a new ramen restaurant, so we drove an hour from Reno to get here and it was. Aterrible experience. First, the website and Google both say the off season hours are 11-6. We got there at 11:15 and the doors were locked, and no one would answer the phones. After standing outside for about 20 minutes trying to look up why they were closed, someone came out and said they would be open at 12. So we waited, and went in at open. Second, this is the most expensive ramen I have ever seen, Ramen with a drink and a donut for 2 people was 80$ before tip... 6$ for a side of pickled cucumber and 4$ per donut (Which were also the Smallest donuts I've ever seen as well), and 7$ for a small boba that tastes like watered down strawberry milk.. Lastly, I have never once left a ramen shop still hungry.. ever.. But ironically the most expensive ramen I've ever had was also the smallest, because we wound up getting food on the drive home. As for the food, the tonkatsu base is nice and rich but has a very heavy powdered smoke flavor, it came out lukewarm despite the fact my partner and I were the only other people in the restaurant, and the strawberry donut my partner got was very bitter somehow? Although the churro donut I got was fine, and I did like the noodles they used. Overall extremely disappointing. Poor service (which is also reflected in the auto-generated responses to reviews here), delusionally expensive, and frustrating from the beginning. There is no reason to go out of your way to come to this restaurant unless you are already staying at the Northstar lodge and have a massive food budget. If you're not already at Northstar though save yourself the gas and frustration and go anywhere else.
Don't trust the reviews... The ramen comes out lukewarm, ramen egg was cold, and the miso ramen is actually shoyu ramen with ginger with a scoop of "miso" butter on top. Really expensive for unauthentic ramen.
Honestly, such a wonderful place! We stayed up at Northstar a couple weeks ago, and it was getting close to the seasons end, so not much was open late. We decided to come in and try it out. The manager was very helpful and the food was wonderful. We ended up coming back to get more donuts before we headed out! We probably tried 75% of the donut types, and none of them disappointed. If we ever come back up that way, we will definitely be coming through.
Wow! This place is incredible. The miso ramen was packed with so much flavor and fresh veggies (not to mention amazing noodles). To top it off, I grabbed a strawberry donut which was one of the best donuts I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to make this spot a regular treat.
This place is absolutely phenomenal! The ramen was some of the best we have ever had. The gyoza was also incredible and the donuts were delicious as well. Can't recommend this place enough
Wow, very impressed with their ramen! Probably the best ramen I have ever had. Got the veganized miso ramen and it was so flavorful and delicious! Big portions too. Highly, highly recommend it. My new fave local eatery now!
We were eager to try this place because ramen after skiing is an obvious choice. It seems that they were just starting to serve food for the first time since opening, so the service seemed a little bumpy. But OMG the ramen more than made up for any service oopsies. The ramen was some of the best I've ever had. The ingredients seemed fresh, light, but so bursting with unique flavors. I'm so excited to finally have good food in the village!
Finally, a proper ramen spot in Truckee/Tahoe. We got an early taste of the menu tonight at the quiet opening and it did not disappoint. The chashu in the tonkatsu ramen was done the hard way (aka the proper way) and cooked to perfection. The veggie miso ramen was a hit with my wife who can't stand when vegetarian options just means no meat. The veggie miso had tons of flavor and no shortage of hearty, meatless umami alternatives. The gyoza and house kimchi were delicious sides, and we took a box of donuts to try in the morning. It's clear alot of thought and planning went into every single item on the menu. Consider me a regular!

Really tasty ramen, beautifully plated! This isn’t just fast food ramen, there’s a real attention to detail and I’m so excited to have this restaurant open in Truckee! We’ll worth a visit even if you aren’t skiing at northstar for the day
Didn’t get to try the ramen but the donuts were fantastic. Really hard to find good gluten free donuts and these hit the spot. Didn’t get the owners name but he seemed like a really good guy. If I’m ever in these parts again I will absolutely come back for the ramen.
Newly opened in Northstar with donuts, boba tea and Ramen. Donuts are wonderful. Large variety is super original toppings. Boba is awesome. Haven’t have the ramen.
Very nice atmosphere
Premium parking by the village is $40.
