Carly was awesome! Fed us and our hungry kids quickly and the food was awesome!!!
Went to dinner's with my wife and friend at 6:45. They told us to hurry and order the kitchen was closing only fried food available. Which consisted of french fries or fried brussels sprouts. Ridiculous they say they're open until nine.
Terrible experience. Supposedly open till 9 pm, showed up at 6:45. Only 4 appetizer fried items available, so basically no dinner service at all. Bring your own food if your staying at Northstar....
Showed up for dinner at 645. We were told the kitchen is only serving French fries and a few other fried appetizers. Website says they are open til 9 but there were ready to shut their doors at 645. Very rude about it as well. Mad we showed up. I would never go there again
I don’t understand the lower ratings for this place. We had a great experience. Service was attentive and they were able to accommodate a special request. Menu had lots to offer and the food was delicious. Unlike some other restaurants at the resort, portions were generous. And Tipsy Tuesday offers 2 for 1 wine by the glass with generous pours. Please give them a try. You won’t be sorry!
Great food. Excellent service. Poke bowl and chicken were both great as were the Brussel sprouts
So the food is good and about the price you expect for the area. Drinks were well made. The only down side is the atmosphere is like an amusement park restaurant. So very family style but like not as nice.
If you want to visit a restaurant with slow service, long wait times, yet empty and un-bussed tables..this is the place for you. Hear for lunch on a Friday ski day and I am convinced the owners/managers believe servicing customers is a burden... if you want better attention..sit at the bar...
Felt bad for the workers. Understaffed and took over an hour to get a table. On a holiday weekend such a lost opportunity for this business. Must be bleeding revenue. Sitting with empty tables but no staff to turn them and keep the service going. Food was good once we got it. Over 2.5 hours to get lunch. Add more staff to help!
Wasted 20 minutes waiting for a table while couple after couple that arrived after were seated. Gave up.

We had a private party at this venue. The service was excellent and the food met our high standards. It took us a while to make the reservation because the place is not always open and it took us several messages before getting a call back. We agreed on the menu and beverages ahead of time. Everyone in our 20+ people group enjoyed the food and atmosphere.
Vegetarian options: When we reviewed the menu, it offered vegetarian options

Delightful hidden treat at Northstar. You exit the loud crowded ice skating area and this little gem is quiet and clean and spacious enough for privacy. Just what me family needed after a big day on the slops. The kids menu was 15 each which is reasonable to me with a fruit side and cookie. We really loves the salmon and risotto. Very high quality ingredients and well balanced and thought out. I got a fun cocktail called the peppermint dude which delighted and wasn’t too sweet. We booked again for tomorrow. We usually go to the other big restaurant which is fun but this was the calm quiet fine dining but kid friendly experience we so needed but didn’t expect.
Kid-friendliness: The chocolate chip cookie that comes with the kids meals is so good

RUDE and VERY UNWELCOMING OWNER!VERY UNINVITING ATMOSPHERE.THIS KIND OF MENTALITY AND ESTABLISHMENT DOESN’T BELONG IN TAHOE. GO BACK TO VAIL.IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR A WARM, FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT WITH GOOD FOOD AND SERVICE TO TAKE YOUR FAMILY OUT TO DINNER AND ENJOY YOUR TAHOE/NORTHSTAR VACATION EXPERIENCE…THIS IS NOT THE PLACE!! DEFINITELY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! ?
