My friend and I went to co-work from there, and while the coffee was awesome (I got a nitro cold brew and DEFINITELY got my money’s worth of caffeine), the baked goods are authentic, adorable, and all made in house! We got a spinach artichoke puff, an apple strudel with housemade whipped cream, a snowball cookie, and a peanut butter cookie with a kiss on top.
I would recommend this place to literally everyone. It’s good for working, hanging, you can chat up the owner Warner if he’s here or stare at the gorgeous mural depicting their move from Switzerland to the Washoe Watershed <3

10 stars. Some of the best espresso and coffee I've had. Went back every day I was in Truckee. Staff was exceptional and knowledgeable. Didn't try the food but this will be a go out of my way stop for coffee every time I'm in the area from now on!

I was SO disappointed in the cappuccino from Zuri today, I asked the barista to remake it bc the first one tasted like they burnt the espresso, similar to starbucks.The second one was a little improvement but not a good cap by any means. Zuri used to be my favorite coffee in truckee. I met the owner and learned about how he imported italian beans roasted in switzerland. I do not like writing bad reviews at all. I am being honest about the quality I experienced today so there is space and awareness for improvement. The positives are friendly service, great ambiance, and food looked amazing.

Zuri Coffee is easily one of the best coffee spots around. The coffee is top-notch, and I love that they serve it in real mugs—not plastic cups full of chemicals like BPA. You can really taste the difference with the beans, which are imported straight from Europe. But what really sold me was the pastries. I had a German Apfelstrudel, and as someone who’s actually from Germany, I can tell you—it’s legit! The real thing, no shortcuts. If you want great coffee and a true European pastry experience, Zuri is the place to go. Plus, the staff is incredibly friendly, making the whole experience even better.
A favorite coffee shop in Truckee—I make a point of stopping here whenever in town! Great coffee, gorgeous pastries and delicious lunch options. I love their avocado ? toast (you get two healthy portions for $11). The baristas are friendly and know how to foam a great cappuccino! ☕️

Definitely the best coffee shop in Truckee! Top notch establishment all around. Great coffee, great food and great service. I got my Machiatto espresso and my constantly knocked it on the ground. The gentleman working the counter saw it and promptly let me know he was going to make me a new one. He also came and helped clean up the mess. Every person I have interacted with here has been great. Highly recommend!
