Today, I went to Del Taco, a restaurant I often visit. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with my experience. I ordered a Number 16, a Double Del Burger with only lettuce, meat, and cheese for my son. Surprisingly, I was given just the bun with lettuce. While I understand that work can become monotonous and lead to joking around, it's essential for restaurant staff to maintain attention to detail in food preparation. Despite the humorous aspect, it resulted in an expensive and unsatisfactory purchase of a hamburger without the meat. It might be my fault for not double-checking my order, but we trust the restaurant staff to take care of our food.

I love this fast food restaurant. I am particularly fond of the grilled chicken tacos and the strawberry shakes. However everything we have eaten on the menu had been delicious.⁹
Kid-friendliness: The restaurant is open with booths and tables. There is no specific area for kids, they just sit at a table with their folks.

The food was good, but the thermostat inside the restaurant was set to 95 degrees and locked during a heatwave in July. What kind of psycho does that? I ended up sitting outside where it was noticeably cooler.

Clean dining room as always, friendly staff always greets you with a smile, fast and efficient with your order. I've never gotten an incorrect order from this location. If you have a large vehicle (lengthwise) it could be tricky navigating the drive thru because it's a very tight turn with a brick retaining wall that has a curve in it connecting to a lower section of their wall on the passenger side so enter at your own risk of driving an oversized vehicle that is longer than average hight clearance is not an issue. Depending on the time of day you visit the drive thru is pretty fast.
Parking: Strip mall type parking on the left of the restaurant next to the limited parking spots for the restaurant on either side I believe 5 or 6 spots on the foothill side and several spots along side the drive thru entrance then alternate parking by the other stores to the right of The Del Taco.
Wheelchair accessibility: Has a flush to ground walkway directly to the door, easily accessible for a wheelchair.

It's a place you can get something healthy to eat for a dollar. Update (5 years later): Make that two dollars.
Ordering classic tacos was great. Best deal as shown in the menu. Absolutely great service. As busy as it gets. Special deals are the cheap classic tacos (hard-shelled on Tuesdays & Classic Grilled chicken tacos. (Soft tortillas on Thursdays) $1.00 or more each if I remember correctly. Very satisfying. Employees welcoming customers to visit & eat tacos, burritos, burgers & fries etc. Dine in & takeout. I enjoy Mexican grill food very much.
