We had a memorable experience. I'll go back for the beet salad and the baklava cheesecake. The cioppino was the best I've ever had, loaded with fish. It's a lovely restaurant. The server was very aware of our needs. She graciously gave us extra time to order, and service was on point. There was lots of excitement about the new menu.

I went to Seven Sisters last night, hadn’t been in a few years. This use to be one of my favorite restaurants and I was excited to take my boyfriend for the first time. What a disappointment… the food was so terrible! 😢 I must say the service is still everything I’d expect but it’s unfortunate when the food doesn’t live up to this service experience. I had the Chilean Sea-bass special, which was described to come served on a bed of risotto. The fish had one flavor note, black pepper… other than that it was bland and overcooked. The “risotto” was more like a porridge, it was mushy and also lacked flavor. My boyfriend had the cioppino. The flavor profile of the broth was great, however all
of the seafood was overcooked, way over. All the clams, mussels, and shrimp were like trying to chew rubber bands. Also, the menu stated this dish had Dungeness crab and fish also but we saw neither in his. Needless to say, left hungry and dissatisfied. What a total bummer!

I ordered the surf and turf and was really disappointed. The lobster had decent flavor, but it was removed from the shell poorly, leaving small shell pieces in almost every bite. The filet mignon was ordered medium but came out well done and tasted more like pot roast than a steak. The vegetables were yellow and orange cubes that looked like hard pumpkin or squash and were not appetizing at all. I asked for a green vegetable and was served Brussel sprouts that were not cut or cleaned . Overall, the dish was not worth the price and left a lot to be desired.

My husband and I had an early impromptu dinner last night at Seven Sisters. I had heard about this place from my retired friends and hadn't realized this was located at Black Oak Casino where we are enjoying the RV parks.

Our hostess Cassidy was inviting and very personable. We really enjoyed her and our server Timothy. Timothy is knowledgeable and a great asset to Seven Sisters!

This place has never disappointed me so much. Our waiter,
Timothy, was attentive but the service was very slow; they didn't refill our wine or water glasses.
The chicken and pork chop were overcooked and very dry. Instead of replacing them, he offered me more glaze, and even then it wasn't very pleasant to eat.
I almost choked on the food, and there was no water.
Extremely disappointing for all our guests.
We were celebrating something special, and it didn't turn out as we had hoped.

What a memorable dining experience! The food and service was beyond excellent. The salmon, New York, and Porterhouse steaks were cooked to perfection. The mushroom soup, mashed potatoes and desserts were incredibly delicious. Our waiter, Timothy, exceeded our expectations with his attentive service. Well done!!

We went to Seven Sisters to celebrate our anniversary, and overall had a wonderful time. Our server was warm and cheerful, which added to the evening, though she wasn’t the best at describing dishes and sometimes took a while to come around. That said, her energy kept things fun. The atmosphere was quiet and intimate, perfect for date night.

Here’s how the food measured up:

Bread service: A mix of sourdough and focaccia, served with whipped salted butter and a bone marrow butter. The focaccia had excellent flavor, though a bit dense. The sourdough was average. The salted butter was perfectly balanced, while the bone marrow butter had incredible flavor but could have used just a touch more salt.

Potato croquettes with chorizo: Crispy outside, creamy inside, with a sauce that tied everything together. Familiar flavors, but elevated beautifully.

Half wedge salad: Absolutely perfect. The detail of serving it with a chilled plate and fork was a thoughtful touch.

House salad: Fresh and good.

Bone-in pork chop with poblano sauce, creamy mashed potatoes, and heirloom baby carrots: The standout dish of the night. The pork was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the mash was silky, and the carrots had just the right amount of bite. Hands down the best pork chop I’ve ever had.

NY strip steak: Cooked and seasoned perfectly, but unfortunately the cut itself had too much sinew, which made it less enjoyable. My husband tried both the cranberry demi and the regular demi-glace. The cranberry paired surprisingly well with the pork, while the regular demi was better suited to the steak. Still, both sauces could have used more depth, flavor, and salt.

Dessert – pecan cheesecake: Very pretty presentation and a good finish to the meal.

Amuse-bouche (mint and raspberry sorbet): A small spoonful that turned out to be one of the most memorable parts of the night, it was refreshing, vibrant, and absolutely stunning. Compliments to whoever created it, it was unforgettable.

In the end, we truly enjoyed our experience. While there were a few minor notes here and there, most of them are things the average diner wouldn’t notice. (My husband is a former chef, so our palates can be a little more particular.) The quality, atmosphere, and standout dishes more than made up for the small misses. We would absolutely return. Compliments to the chef, sous chefs, line cooks, and pastry team for a lovely evening and the service of course!
Sorry we took no photos, as we were trying to stay present and screen free for dinner.

For the most part, the experience was pretty good. Nice seating area, quiet, and comfortable. I ordered the pork chop. I will be honest, it was one of the worst pork chops I’ve had. It was tough, and very chewy. Took 3 bites and the waitress sent it back to get me a new one. Received the new one, and to my surprise, it was crap too. Took an additional 20 min to get the second plate as well. They decided to charge us half for the meal? Half? The main star of the dish was the pork chop and I could only get down about 6 bites. So we paid $27 (out of a $42 dish) for crap. At least the beer was good. Will not return there.

We had an excellent anniversary dinner at Seven Sisters! Everything was outstanding, from the menu selections, to the way our food was prepared, to the elegant yet relaxing atmosphere, to the attentive and friendly service. The Atlantic Salmon was cooked to perfection and had an amazing glaze. It was a fantastic dining experience!

I just needed to write a review on the outstanding customer service that Cassidy provided at the reservation desk. Cassidy was extremely professional and friendly. She returned my call after she made a few adjustments and was able to accommodate my husband and I. Even if she wasn't able to squeeze us in, her kind disposition and professionalism was refreshing. Keep it up Cassidy and Seven Sisters!!! ❤️
