The food is always good here. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. I like the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes (and the garlic bread). Awesome! I also like the mini pies, especially the chocolate cream and banana cream. The only minor complaint that I have is the occasional faint aroma of what smells like a sewer. I've noticed during my last few visits. But, admittedly, I haven't dined there for a month or two... so hopefully that situation has...

Love Black Bear diner the portions and the food are wonderful and at this one the service is actually very nice, smiles, friendly people and it seem to be busy. So you know more people enjoy the restaurant like I do.

My daughter and I came to Turlock to have lunch with my sister and mom. The staff, especially Gabi and David (mgr), were attentive to us and great with my mom who is 88 and legally blind. Thank you so much for the enjoyable meal!
