I stopped by this spot on a whim, primarily drawn in by the enticing name—after all, I’ve always loved Sandos on the East Coast, and they're a bit harder to come by out here. The atmosphere is charming and has a distinct Californian vibe that adds to the experience.
However, my visit was slightly marred by the demeanor of the gentleman at the register, who came across as quite stern; he might be better suited for back-of-house duties than front-of-house interactions.

We've been driving past this place for over 5 years (if they've been there that long). We've never tried it because we assumed it was just a "beer pub / sandwich place", which it is, and there's nothing wrong with those places, but we don't drink beer or eat sandwiches (we're some of those low-carb people). I just had the most epic tuna sandwich what I was craving you for and I found it at Bronx Sandwich in Tustin! This place is the real deal - their tuna sandwich is so good, it'll make you forget all about your adulting problems (at least for a few bites). The drinking fountain is like a soda sommelier, with more options than a Netflix menu. And on the side they have house-made chips - they're like a flavor bomb just waiting to blow your taste buds away not to salty....
