Horrible server/bartender (I would say his name but I don't want him to get fired) with a condescending attitude. All I said was can I get a mint mojito and he replied back in a snarky voice, "All mojitos have mint." Okay... Could you have gone without saying that? The worst part was I get the mojito and it tasted like there was only like juice in it. The only mint I saw in the drink was garnish. Then the guy comes over with the check and tosses up in the air to catch... Only for it to fall on the ground. He made a similar type of comment when they did not have a certain type of gin my friend asked for. You my friend are a goofy idiot.

Total jerks. I asked of they made a Mai Tai, which is a classic drink any bar in the planet makes and the surly server said "We' re not a Tiki Bar. There's a tiki bar 200 feet to the left. Very rude. I can respect that they don't make a particular drink, but a normal server just says no and offers something else. This 20 something didn't have any manners.

Been to central bar several times across at least 2 to 3 years, but last night wow. Ever since the pandemic I've been on the search for a go to cocktail bar. All the ones in the OC I used to regularly go to switched jobs or quit the industry entirely. Came here with some coworkers and this place has some of the best bartenders I've seen in a long time, on par with the bartenders I sometimes visit in Long Beach. One way I like to test a bartender is by how they make a negroni. 3 simple ingredients, but so much variety in how the drink can be crafted. There's not much better than a good negroni, and the bartenders here made a fantastic one. I give this place props, and they have expanded the menu and offer some appetizers. Honestly order the French fries, they had no business being as good as they were! Super fresh, crispy, and crunchy! Amazing cocktails, great appetizers. Not much else you could ask for from a bar. Definitely a must try if you haven't been here before, and want some amazing cocktails.

Really swanky place. It feels like it's a pop-up bar and it has a really decor. Overall. Cocktails are really good here, probably some of my favorite of the night. Staff are really friendly and attentive. And attentive. We were able to get a seat at one of the side bars which was great. Overall this so perfect. Place to stop for a quick cocktail after work.

We have been coming to Central Bar for years ever since they opened probably 2017! They are located in the always busy Tustin District in the middle of the Union Market "food court" ish area between Milk Bar, and Portola Coffee. This is the place you go if you're looking for good craft cocktails with your friends or somewhere for a date night just to sit to chat with some good drinks. There are a few seating choices around the entire open bar from booths, to counters to at the bar. Yeah since covid they've kind of removed some tables. They are now open Wed-Sat 4pm-10pm, and Sun 12pm-5pm. Note even though they closed they're really open till about 11pm or when everyone leaves and they shutoff all the lights in the building lol. The menu itself has changed often over the years too. Currently during covid they have cut the entire book of cocktail menu down to a single page on QR code on the table now. You probably could still order off menu for the old classics from the old leather "book" menu. Yes prices have increased over the years as with everything else during inflation! They do have random game nights or hosts at the stage where the piano used to be. They have trivia games for everyone to play together on there phones. Or they are DJ music nights depending on the day and there booking. The staff and bartenders are all super chill. They do chitchat with patrons or if you're there alone and bored. They do have a TV if you want to watch some game after work.
They are so friendly! We walked up and they were chit chatting with us right away. I really appreciate that because I felt welcomed. The drinks were so good too! The bartender was super nice and was like I'd you don't like it I can fix it. They also have snacks and said we could bring our food back to the bar if we wanted too. I will totally be coming back here again.

First time coming here and I’ve been looking forward to it. I got there and noticed there wasn’t seating at the bar for two ppl so we decided to move a chair and once I sat down I was instantly yelled at for being right there. I wasn’t greeted or welcomed, just yelled at lol. I completely understand and would have loved to move the chairs back but I would have appreciated a more professional and welcoming environment seeing as though it was my first time there. We left because I did not want to bother with rude service.

We stopped by for a girls night to grab some drinks and just chat. All the workers were so friendly & welcoming! They have a pretty good selection of drinks, beer, and small wine selection. We ended up staying here a lot longer than we planned because the service was so good! Will definitely be back!!
