Chaak Kitchen offers outstanding food and service. The ceviche, half chicken, enchilada, and smoked pork shoulder are excellent. The guacamole and salsas are flavorful, and the house margarita is refreshing. The staff is gracious, friendly, and knowledgeable. They are willing to customize drinks to your taste. The ceviche, tetela, and esquites with bone marrow are must-try dishes. The creative dishes, never boring, delight with their Mayan influences. Visitors can enjoy the casual and laid-back atmosphere, whether on the patio or inside. The restaurant is a gem that never disappoints, from the killer cocktails to the beautifully prepared foods.
Chaak Kitchen is an excellent place to visit and enjoy, with superb service, meals, and cocktails. The staff, particularly Orlando, is ever-so-patient and responsive. The atmosphere is very inviting, with a delicious menu and a desire to return for more. While the air conditioning may be a bit strong at times, the overall experience is very good. Many customers love the food, especially the ceviche, mushrooms, and pork shoulder, though some find the ceviche a bit too salty. Service is very attentive, friendly, and on time, making it a highly recommended spot in Old Tustin. The food presentation is very creative, and the food itself is always excellent. Mixed drinks are good, though offering some standard vodka options like Gray Goose or Tito’s could be an improvement. Overall, Chaak Kitchen remains a favorite for special nights out or casual visits with friends and family, and many feel lucky to have such a great restaurant in Old Town.
