The dishes are ok, but the soup is not as good as the ones from supermarkets. Full self-service➕Missing an order. Compulsory 18% tip at the end to persuade refund...

Malubianbian is serving up some flavorful, spicy, and affordable hot pot! You can make your own dipping sauce at their DIY sauce bar for your hotpot, and even snack on a few items they have out like their freshly made shrimp chips and sesame balls! They have a wide range of seafood, veggie, and meat options including their skewers and side dishes. The soup packs so much flavor and I loved their spicy mala broth. My favorite items were their beef, pork ribs, fish balls, and lamb! It's the perfect place to enjoy a hot, savory meal! They have two locations, one in Tustin and one in Rowland Hills. I typically don't drive to these areas but definitely will go for some delicious Asian food! They have all day happy hour on the weekdays with $1 soup bases and $1 beers, and their skewers cost around $3-10 which is such a good deal! It's the perfect place to hang out with your friends and to enjoy hot pot in this cold weather!

Food was okay, but they have poor service. I feel like this is a shame for staff to let customers turn to other restaurants because of the poor service. When the broth was almost burnt, the staff didn't come to refill it. I asked for the second time and the staff reluctantly came to refill it. I didn't get why she was not happy. When I checkout, I mentioned to her that the reason we asked for a refill was because the broth was almost dry, and she was like :"yes, so I did refill it" with a condescending expression towards us. When I asked for to go boxes, she was like :"I thought you are done".Okay well, you are the lord. There are many other good Chinese restaurants nearby with quality and tasty food. Most of them have much better service than this one.已经一年没有来吃过了 所以拥有你真的是你们老板的幸运。不知道现在为什么服务业都这么拽 吃个饭要不换客人来给你服务?或者开一个自助加汤取饭盒点

The best hot pot we have had, great hot pot soup, fresh food. We can make our own dipping. The chicken feet is delicious.

We wound up here randomly during a road trip because it was the only decent looking place to eat near a charger. The hotpot was spicy and absolutely delicious.

The amount of oil in their broth was insane. I had to use the cabbage pieces to soak the oil. Towards the end I just gave up and felt disgusted trying to eat anymore. The meat quality was poor, there was more fat content on the meat then actual meat. I tried the chicken (dark meat), beef and lamb. I was not happy with any of these options. It's definitely not worth the price paid.

I really wanted to eat spicy hot pot, so I went there with my friends. We ordered a lot of skewers, which are super delicious ?

The barbecue hot pot experience is great. The spicy food is very tasty, delicious and the portions are reasonable, and the price is an absolute advantage.

This is my first time at this restaurant. Saw the happy hour deal with $1 soup base. Regular price around $10.99 for the soup base we order - mushroom and tomato soup combo. Soup has good blend of flavor but I have had better soup before. Skewers are around $2.39 each plate of 5 skewers and there are plenty of choices you can order. We ordered lotus root, tofu skin, original wagyu beef and garlic beef. We also ordered a plate of handmade mashed shrimp paste $13.99, which was deliciously bouncy, according to my son; a vegetable combo, that has the napa cabbage, spinah and sliced fresh shitake mushroom for $9.99; and hot pot noodles for $3.99. The noodles come with 2 servings but the texture is thin and medium softness, not al dente. The dipping sauce / snack bar is $2.99 per person. They have enough selections for appetizers and desserts. Plenty of choices for sauces and condiments.Overall, this place is average compared to the many hot pot places around this area. But no other place can beat the $1 soup base for their happy hour. Promo is from Nov 1st to 30th 2023.

Tried this for the first time last night with 3 other couple + 1 middle school kid. We were all pleasantly surprised in a good way. We got 3 pots. Each pot have 2 separate soup base. I got the signature chicken broth and the spicy house beef broth. The spicy beef you can determine how spicy you like, we got the least spicy one but it's spicy enough in my opinion. The restaurant was clean. The service was very good. Servers were all observant and nice. The food was fresh. The free side dishes were all yummy. With all the food and alcohol we ordered, plus tips, the total was a little above five hundred dollars. We were all very satisfied and happy when we walked out. Definitely will come back!
