Oscar's is yet another Tustin Gem I managed to overlook. Its great, and I would give it more stars if I could. Oscar's menu is extensive. It includes cold sandwiches, hot sandwiches, entree salads, burgers, breakfast items, soups, great side salads, and soups.Everything is made in house using quality, fresh ingredients. Meats and cheeses are sliced fresh. The portions are generous, so much so I typically can finish just one half the sandwich. This is fine. I can share the other half or save it for the next day. So far, my favorite sandwiches are the Roast Beef, the Triple, the Tuna Salad, and the Philly Chicken Cheese, but every sandwich I've tried was very good. So far, my favorite included side salads are the mac salad, the garden salad, and the summer salad. I've never had better mac salad. The place is not huge, but there is plenty of seating. I've never had a problem finding a place to sit when I chose "for here" versus take out. The prices are insanely reasonable. For instance, for $9.99, you get your choice of cold sandwiches coupled with your choice of a generously portioned side salad or one of the soups of the day If you order one of the specials of the day, you get a self-serve fountain drink too for the same money.The service is great. It is always friendly and prompt. In my opinion, Oscar's trumps every other sandwich place in town by a country mile despite there being a number of worthy competitors.

Great little neighborhood sandwich shop. Only open weekdays and morning to afternoon. Local owner, Bobby, is pretty much always there with a smile.I've tried a number of their sandwiches and a few burritos and have enjoyed them all. Meat and ingredients are fresh and tasty, bread is fresh (love their hoagie rolls), and their service is fast.You can call in your order if you're in a big rush. They have a great lunch special with a different sandwich each day that comes with one of their delicious side salads and a drink.Seating inside is clean and comfortable. Some outside seating.My favorite side salad is their summer salad - chopped cucumber, tomatoes, and onions in an Italian dressing. Perfect compliment to a sandwich.Breakfast burritos are really good too. They include cooked veggies with them so if you just want the meat, potatoes, and cheese, let them know. Salsa can be on the burrito or on the side.

Love love love this spot!!! Their breakfast burritos with their house made salsa are to die for. I'm always able to quickly order and pick up food for myself and coworkers. Their food is freshly made and they use good ingredients. I'm never disappointed!!! My only wish is they were open weekends so I could enjoy them even more! Also highly recommend the Chicken Club Sandwich on Sourdough or the Italian sub with extra banana peppers.

Loved my 1st visit here. My philly sandwich was large and tasty. Potato and Mac salad was right on legit, and chicken soup hit the spot. Dig the rock and roll images on the wall, and friendly staff. All good with me!!!!
Another shoutout for my favorite neighborhood deli. Today, I have the lunch combo with turkey sandwich (lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and pickles) on a French roll. Comes with a side salad (good selection - my favorite is the summer salad) and a drink. Quick service or you can call in your order.Friendly staff! Excellent price for a combo these days!

Great service and delicious food. I believe he's the owner because he's there every morning but he's always so nice and efficient. I work near by and this is our go to place for lunch if we are wanting something healthy and delicious.
