This restaurant is a great spot for Japanese food with a traditional vibe. They have an area with low tables on tatami mats. It feels very nice seeing this. The service was attentive and friendly. The live sushi bar is my favorite, especially the Santa Barbara uni, which was fresh and delicious. Unfortunately they didn’t have tuna belly and a5 wagyu when I went. I come here every once in a while for their $25 lunch special at the bar and it’s great! The sushi chef is friendly and fish quality is fresh. I have brought my coworkers here and they’ve all loved it.
