Sake2Me sushi on Newport Ave

We went for my sister-in-law's birthday celebration and everything was beautiful, I didn't take photos of the food but it was all super delicious

I was excited to have AYCE Sake2me closer to me again. I go to the Cerritos location for their perfect sushi to rice ratio as well as yummy KBBQ. Unfortunately this location is nothing like Cerritos for those that are used to Cerritos. There is almost double the rice in each piece of sushi so rather than having a flat piece of fish and rice it is a rounded ball of rice with a piece of fish on top. Way too much rice for the fish. Unfortunately there was also no KBBQ kalbi option like in Cerritos as well.

I think for the price and for being AYCE having that amount of rice per piece of fish for sushi is not good. If you are only into rolls though the rolls here are good and just like the other locations. But if you are into Sushi there are closer restaurants with a much better proportion of rice to sushi.

This is our favorite sushi spot. Such good, fresh sushi and amazing service. Kim is always so sweet and always recommends the best.

Will be coming back soon, one of the best AYCEs I've been to. Generous fish portions and appreciate that the rice to fish ratio was very balanced (other restaurants load up on rice). Had really good quality seafood and enjoyed the appetizers as well. Kim, our server, was very cheerful and welcoming. Overall service was fast and definitely had my fill. All in all would recommend.

WOWW this has to be the best best bEST AYCE sushi i’ve ever had. Everything was great quality and delicious, good rice to fish ratio. And I have to mention Kim’s service was impeccable! She is so pleasant and made us feel like family. highly recommend!

We had Kim as our main server and she was so nice. Gave great recommendations and was constantly checking to see how we were doing. Christian was also great—he came up to clear our table of dishes and checked in on us often to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall experience was great, staff was kind, place was clean, food was delicious. Would definitely recommend!!

Kim was an awesome waitress. She was very helpful and experienced. She helped me with my son’s birthday and she was exceptionally sweet and knowledgeable

Sake2me AYCE is definitely the best sushi spot in Orange County, especially for lunch. Their fish is consistently fresh and perfectly chilled.

The service is incredibly fast. Rachel is my favorite server; she's attentive and great.
Kim is also outstanding; she not only delivers efficient service but brings a fun and charming personality.

Unlike other AYCE sushi restaurants, this place gave easy rice. The quality of the foods were above average. Services were also attentive too.
