Stayed at the Gables Ceder Creek Inn for the Labor Day Weekend & Cameron told me about there restaurant The Local Press that they opened & on my last morning there i wanted to make sure i stopped there for Breakfast , i ordered there Breakfast Borrito 🌯 & a side of Bacon 🥓 for my 4 Legged Son Tiny , the Burrito 🌯 was dang Gooood 😋 , i had it with Chorizo & Bacon 🥓 Mix & it was Absolutely Delicious 😋👍🏻 Grrrreat Food , Grrreat Atmosphere , Pet Friendly , Suuuper Friendly Staff & all around AMAZING 👏🏻 My next stay up at Gables , I plan on stopping in again & try there Burgers 🍔 for lunch 😋 and I know I won't be disappointed 😊 I Recommend The Local Press , they got damn good Food 😋👍🏻

Great location. Great vibe. Great food. If you are in the mood for a great lunch or breakfast, definitely give this place a try. Unique option like “blueberry fried chicken” and “Campfire” root beer will give you a chance to enjoy lunch classics, but with a unique twist. I had both of the above, and I can tell you I enjoyed them both. Especially the campfire. It was a root beer with marshmallow and honestly, should be done more.
Lovely staff, great food! Awesome coffee. And a sweet little place to chill and have your breakfast burrito and coffee.

We stumbled in here with local friends over Thanksgiving week and ended up staying a whole afternoon. Wonderful food (and great value), best coffee in town, and super friendly staff. Twain Harte is a great town to visit but Local Press makes it a great place to stay and dine--best in town!
