We stumbled in here with local friends over Thanksgiving week and ended up staying a whole afternoon. Wonderful food (and great value), best coffee in town, and super friendly staff. Twain Harte is a great town to visit but Local Press makes it a great place to stay and dine--best in town!
I recently visited Local Press, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, with the standout being the Blueberry BBQ Chicken Sandwich ā a unique and flavorful combination that I can't wait to have again. The outdoor dining area was perfect for enjoying the fresh air, providing a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. The beer selection was impressive, with a wide variety of options to suit any taste. Overall, great food, great ambiance, and a great selection of drinks. I will definitely be coming back for more! Highly recommend it!

The coffee and service here are second to none. I have no pics because I was too busy eating my breakfast burrito with bacon. The Strawberry Fields breakfast sandwich is a symphony of sweet and tangy. The Americano is perfect! I drank nothing else because it was so good. They are open from 8 to 3. The wait staff is phenomenal. It is a place were you walk in and the owner greets you by name or "Hey bud, what can we get you?" This is a cornerstone of Twain Harte, everyone one comes here. Wait, time was not an issue. I can't wait to come back for a concert night!

The coffee was delicious, and our crew generally enjoyed the offerings for breakfast. Our favorite discovery, however, were the speciality sodas! We LOVED the root beer, vanilla syrup, and cream oneāabsolutely delicious.

Local Press in Twain Harte is one of my favorite spots! Their burgers are out of this worldājuicy, flavorful, and paired with perfectly crispy fries. The coffee is fantastic too, with rich and bold flavors, while their Lotus energy drinks are a refreshing and energizing treat.
The atmosphere is cozy, with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, making it a great spot to hang out no matter the weather. Theyāre located right next to the community pool, which adds to the local charm. Plus, they host summer concerts that make for an awesome vibeānothing better than great food, coffee, and live music all in one spot!
The owner, Cameron, is awesome! You can tell heās passionate about what he does, and it really shows in the quality of both the food and the overall experience. If you're anywhere near Twain Harte, you need to check this place out!

The food was delicious. The employees we kind and had great attitudes. We loved the outside seating. It's a perfect place to stop by and have lunch. Definitely try the goat burger it's mouth watering and don't forget the fries they are crispy and thin. The definition of shoe string fries.

As probably some of you know my parents ran the Frostop long before it was the local press. The restaurant business is not always the easiest business to run. Things happen beyond your control with employees, machinery and anything else you can think of. If you like a place, great say so.Support them and go back. If you get there on a bad day there is no reason to blast all over the internet. You can destroy someone's business over something that is alot of times is beyond thier control, and certainly wasn't done on purpose. If you can't say something nice, move on, or here's a thought give them another chance. life happens you know I've been there. :)
