Had breakfast and lunch at this great coffee shop last Saturday. Everyone was nice and attentive to us. I had the biscuits and gravy and hubby had chicken fried steak for breakfast and we both stopped by and picked up burgers for lunch. Very reasonable and delicious. It's such a quaint coffee shop. Next time we're here visiting, we will be back.

This is my favorite break/lunch spot in the Mother Lode region. That's saying quite a lot because there dozens of such places in the area. The homemade sausage sandwich is one of my all time favorite meals, period. However, i've tried many of items on the menu and everything has been very good. The staff is wonderful and you can expect to have constant drink refills. The jackalope is pretty cool, too.

I forgot how much we love this restaurant. It's been in Twain Harte for years and still has a hearty varied menu. Great food and friendly service at a reasonable price. The chef makes his own sausage, too! The atmosphere is simple and clean. A real mountain experience you must try. I know we'll be back again.

A small cafe out in Twain hate and every moment spent here was absolutely wonderful! The waitress wasted no time in serving us drinks and coffee, the food was out in record time, and was constantly attended to. For this little mountain town it's a must come in the morning if you need a place to stop on your way up in the mountains. Pull off to the side and visit Twain harte

HAVE AGAIN: The country breakfast with bacon, hash browns, biscuits and gravy was very good...well actually excellent. Great service NOT HAVE AGAIN: The scrambled eggs were pretty tasteless. Not sure what happened. The cinnamon roll with frosting was ok, but not one I would order again - too lightweight.

Love this place we come back every year! Staff is always welcoming we love this place I wouldn't change one thing about it! Food is like home cooking !! Without you having to cook lol it's your perfect small breakfast stop or lunch we always stop for breakfast Sorry forgot to take a picture maybe next year if I remember
For the restaurant owner: You need to hire more people. Waitress says there are only 3 of them. So they are unable to handle the load.Plus the servers need to be polite and attend the tables in a better way. Cant expect to wait for a table just to get a cinammon roll ? ( could have been a takeout)
