Been going there long time. Last 2 years seems to be going in a bad direction. Good very inconsistent. Service had last night was atrocious, waiter could be heard talking nasty about previous staff and the chefs. She must lost track where she was cause I had to ask the other waiters to check on my food. Came out cold undercooked and over priced with a 40$ + steak salad Wow

So I’ve been a fairly regular at Eproson house for the past five years. It has always been my Go-To place for a very nice meal, especially the seafood plates and the prime rib. We’ve had a lot of good experiences here over the years, but reading recent reviews concerning the food quality and service, left us a bit hesitant over coming in for a meal.

Well, let me tell you, be rest assured, the Eproson house is still up to its A-game. The service and food tonight were outstanding. We could not have asked for better service from Alyssa and crew. The prime rib was Melt-In-Your-Mouth and out of this world. Get in and get yourself a great meal and show them your love. You won’t regret it.

Way over priced for what it is, most of the dinner is ala carte, 89$ for 2 tiny bowls of pasta no salad, potato, or veggies came with the pasta, 4 beers and a tip was 105$$!!! Rib eye was overcooked and cost 46$ for one steak, don't waste your time. Waitress was great.

First time going to this restaurant and fell in love with it. The staff was super friendly wish I could remember the bartenders name but she was amazing. She said she was fairly new there but we couldn’t tell. She was so helpful and friendly. We sat out back and she made onus and our Pitbull feel right at home. Great food, great drinks, great service 10/10 recommend.

The prime rib was overcooked and tough. A real let down. I asked for 1 thing from my server when she bothered to show up, and never received it. Pretty disappointing for a guy who just wanted some good prime rib.......

We just ate here August 31st around 5pm, and this was a truly horrible dining experience; mediocre, bland, unseasoned food, expensive prices, dusty and boring interior, 22 minute wait for cocktails when it wasn't busy at all, flies all around us as we ate, and worst of all we couldnt even drink the water as we found not one, but two fruit flies in our water. The only positive thing I have to say is that our server was good and nice. This fine dining restraunt was anything but fine. You cant even trust the water. I advise anyone to avoid this place and look elsewhere, you'll find cheaper food that tastes better, and no flies included.

We were excited to try The Eproson House for the first time, but unfortunately the experience fell short of expectations. We ordered the 10oz Flank steak, and it took quite a long time to come out. When it finally arrived, it was cold. After sending it back, the replacement still came out only lukewarm. The steak itself lacked seasoning or flavor, and the sides that came with it weren’t very enjoyable either. We ended up relying on A1 sauce just to make it decent.

On the positive side, the bread with oil and vinegar was outstanding, and the drinks were excellent — definitely the highlight of the evening. Our waitress was kind and tried to make up for the experience by not charging us for the drinks, which we really appreciated. That gesture stood out even though the food itself was disappointing.

Unfortunately, overall service seemed overwhelmed for a Thursday night; we even overheard other diners commenting on how long it was taking to get their food.

While we appreciated the great drinks and thoughtful service from our waitress, the main dishes left us underwhelmed, and we’re not sure we’d return anytime soon.

I had the bar menu prime rib sandwich, Philly cheese style with fries, it was beyond excellent!

Next time I would ask for the fries to be a little bit on the crisp side as is my personal preference.

I had an old fashioned from the young female bartender and it was excellent!

The guy who was tending bar with the earrings, didn't do so good.
He forgot to place our order and seemed a bit lost.

This place is a hidden gem. The food is great, service is good, and the restaurant is a quaint little place with lots of history. The bar is my favorite place to dine, but with kids, outdoors is perfect. There aren't many places out there like Twain Harte anymore!
