Very calm, quiet and relaxing stay. A great few days getaway from city life and work. Nice cabin with pool and tasty restaurant. Would stay here again and recommend for a chance to unplug from it all.
We had a anniversary dinner at the inn
great, friendly hotel- with small town feel. Everything was wonderful and the restaurant was excellent. Great caesar salad!
Really enjoy the atmosphere service and food great entertainment
Exactly what I wanted for our trip to Joshua Tree National Park. We stayed in the Faultline cabin which was very comfortable and convenient to the pool and restaurant. It has a hammock in the private patio space; great to relax in the evening. Although you won’t find modern amenities here like a mini fridge, the AC works great and the hotel provides a cooler and ice to keep you and your stuff cool and you can take it into the park with you. They’ll even pack you a lunch for your day if you ask the night before. Breakfast was great with excellent coffee, fresh baked goods, and fruit from their farm. The location is perfect and we were able to come in and out of the park multiple times per day with ease. If you’re looking for a modern hotel experience, go somewhere else. But if you enjoy places with some personality and heart, definitely come here.
TL;DR: It’s rustic and charming with personal service and a great location.
Quirky place with surly staff.
Sorry but true.We were a bit late we arrived just past 6pm. but they closed (just) the kitchen because they were slow.Oh okay then can we jump in the pool? no sir its closed NOW. Because they said they wanted to go home early! Ouch.
Wonderful historic inn and restaurant, truly a gem of our beautiful desert. Keep up the great work ❤️🙌
My favorite hideaway!!!
Avoid the Ribeye steak. 4 large chunks of inedible gristle, not fat, gristle. Only two small bites of steak were edible. We told them and they said they would tell the chef but they never offered to remove the $38 steak from the bill. Chocolate mousse dessert was great though. The chef was inexperienced to not notice the condition of the steak before cooking.
Excellent value. Comfortable room

It's on the smaller side making it perfect to dine and converse with whom ever you're eating with. The over all area is super cute with a down to earth, relaxed, mellow vibe. They grow their own veggies which is awesome. I'd definitely refer others and come eat here again. Foods great!
Great place to explore. Lots of areas with historic buildings, art studios, museum and great food in this area.
Rooms: Expensive. But almost worth it! Rooms are sparcly appointed. No coffee machine, fridge or microwave
Nearby activities: Art studios close to McKinsey house' history museum across from property. Expansive grounds
Walkability: Large property with activity's close by
Food & drinks: Bar, resteraunt,
Noteworthy details: Property is historic. Buildings and area has a great history along with a history museum across from Property
