I didn't stay here but did visit for Dinner.I sat outside which was a real treat.I ordered the 'famous' mushrooms which were lovely but an enormous portion. Luckily my Lamb chops came soon after and I could then enjoy the mushrooms with the chops rather than waste them.

We stayed at The Campbell House and loved it! A beautiful historic Ranch house with cottages surrounding it. We stayed 3 nights in the Sunset Cottage. Amazing property, really nice rooms, hearty breakfast in a big living room/dining room atmosphere.Spent time at the Inn as well for a wedding - amazing spot for a wedding on the lawn in front of the Oasis and huge majestic palms. The hospitality everywhere on their properties was amazing, just genuine people! Support this local business!

Really cute hotel near Joshua Tree. We loved that it was pet friendly and our bungalow had a private patio for our pups. The location is great near both entrances to the park and it took us back in time to a roadside motel but updated to 2024. The breakfast was better than expected and we really liked the restaurant for dinner! While it was pricey, we were happy with our stay.Rooms: Unique and comfyNoteworthy details: Pet friendly!

This was definitely one of the coolest places we've stayed around Joshua Tree and the amenities can't be beat. Conveniently located in 29 Palms, it's just minutes from the park entrance. The included breakfast was a great way to start the day before heading into the park, and dinner at the Inn was delicious. Also, being able to get a picnic-style lunch made to take with us was very appreciated. I'd definitely stay here again on return trips to JT!

29 Palms Inn is a cozy, quirky, fun place unlike any other we've stayed at. It is a short drive to Joshua Tree National Park and is right outside downtown 29 Palms with several quality restaurants. It's the perfect place for a romantic couple's getaway in the high desert.Rooms: The rooms are cozy, quaint, and a little rustic which only adds to the charm. Most of the rooms are in standalone bungalows and some of the rooms are in a sort of duplex bungalow. They all have their own unique style and special features. We stayed in Forget Me Not which was a 1-bedroom bungalow with a small vestibule for luggage and closets, and a small bathroom. It also had a fireplace and a private courtyard. On the outside, it had its own convenient parking place, a unique mural, and a small memorial cactus garden. Each bungalow has a small HVAC unit to keep you warm in the winter or cool in the summer. Firewood, complete with kindling, newspaper, and matches, are available at the office/gift shop for $15 for the bungalows that have a fireplace.Nearby activities: Of course, there's Joshua Tree National Park with one of the entrances just a few miles from the Inn. There are also several unique, quality restaurants less than a mile away. We tried Kitchen in the Desert and GRND SQRL. Both were excellent.Food & drinks: The Inn has its own restaurant/bar that is open most evenings. A continental breakfast is included with the stay and is served in the restaurant. The breakfast was excellent - oatmeal with brown sugar & craisins, boiled eggs, yogurt & granola, homemade breads including some fantastic date bread, not to mention coffee, teas, and hot chocolate.Another unexpected surprise was that they offer a brown-bag lunch and even provide a cooler & ice; the lunch is a good-sized fresh sandwich, sun chips, fresh fruit, and homemade cookie - perfect for a picnic in JTNP.Noteworthy details: All the Inn's staff is friendly and helpful. The property has its own garden where they grow many of the ingredients for the restaurant. The property has several quirky little features like a beautiful desesrt oasis surrounded by mature palm trees, historical vehicles, and a heated pool.We weren't sure what to expect when we arrived - the reviews were good, but it only had a 1-star rating. We were very impressed and would highly recommend this place for a couple's getaway or convenient place to stay near the park.

We spent 3 nights in Irene's Adobe and loved the room and the private courtyard! We enjoyed my husband's birthday dinner at the restaurant, excellent food and friendly service. The carrot cake was to die for! 29 Palms Inn is a true gem.

The menu states 3 pieces of fish and chips with coleslaw. My order was delivered to me with one piece of fish when I questioned it, was told "we will GIVE me A piece of fish"... two pieces weight as much as three would, I was told. Post note menu does not mention anything about weight. Was not a good experience. We are snowbirds and have eaten here once every week for five weeks, since we been back. Will not return.

Loved our stay at 29 Palms Inn! We stayed in one of the casitas. The rooms a little rustic, but so great to have a private outdoor area and the grounds are amazing!! They serve an amazing breakfast with granola that is basically addictive... :-) We ate at the Restaurant one night and the food was great. My husband LOVED the pasta special (sauce was a little on the sweet side for me) I had the rib eye. Super close to Joshua Tree Park and other things in the area. Highly recommend!Rooms: A little rustic, definitely not a "resort" style room if that is what you are looking for
