DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS. I don't usually write long reviews, but please see below:First off, the restaurant had a B rating, but my friend really wanted a bacon/avocado burger. Against my better judgement I sat down.I ordered the veggie burger, as I have not eaten beef for decades. I thought, also, this would be my best bet against a food-illness as the patty would be frozen until cooked.Guess what! I got a real beef patty. I realized this after a couple of bites. I called the server over. At this point I just wanted to take this off of the tab & let my friend enjoy his meal. You would think this would a no-brainer to the restaurant, right? Well, No.The server argued with me, seriously she argued with me. She refused to take anything off of the tab as "I had eaten some of the burger." At this point I politiely said that this doesn't seem fair.She then called over the "head waitress" who was very rude and combatitive. Both acted like this was my fault.Finally, what I am most upset about is there was no apology from this "restaurant" with a B rating. And as it turns out, my friend got the veggie burger. On his BACON burger. WHAT?!?

My wife and I came to twentyninepalms for the first time to visit the Joshua Tree National Park. On our way out of town and to continue our honeymoon, we stopped at the Denny's in town. Our server, Daniel was amazing, made our day with how kind he was, his air guitaring is top notch! You could tell he was burning up, it was hot in there! Yet his smile never dropped and he kept everything going, checking on his customers and making sure we had all we needed. Seriously, it's the servers and staff that make the food incredible. So, even through you may not see this Daniel. Thank you. You made our time here so much better.
