Picked up coffee and a breakfast burrito, which was huge and very tasty.

Awful.
I've been to the original John's Place 1000 times almost since the 80s, and they were always consistent.

I tried the one in yucca, and yuck-a it was.
Terrible service, high prices, $22 for a Pastrami and fires, that had about 50 cents worth of actual meat on it.

I'm never going back there again, sorry.

If all you want is to indulge in coffee, enjoy honest food, and be in a super welcoming space to start your morning, I highly recommend this place.

They messed up our pickup order. We placed an order online and made the 40 minute round trip drive. Only upon returning home did we realize they got our order wrong. The whole reason we went there is because my wife wanted their sweet potato fries. Guess what they forgot? Food items were missing, salad dressing was wrong, and on a slightly different note, the salad vegetables were rotted and disgusting. I'm sure it wasn't just Alicia whose fault it was, but she was the one who was working the counter and handed me my food. Extremely disappointing.

I ordered food and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. So I got to pick up window 15 minutes later and still sat at window for another 30 minutes, without any one acknowledging I was even there, save time and go to yucca a lot better

Go there for breakfast every Sunday and dinner at times during the week. Relaxed place friendly staff and very good food. The acoustics are terrible. They need to do something about the noise. You can't have a comfortable conversation. The service is terrible. It takes forever to get waited on.

Bison burger was raw and gave me food poisoning :/

You need to buy a meat thermometer and make sure the cooks use it.

We came here after getting an attitude from the staff at the restaurant at the 29 Palms inn. What a refreshing change.
Friendly staff, quick service and excellent basic food.
Dining area was clean, neat and quiet. Thank you for the nice dinner.

We were in the middle of nowhere and we needed a bite to eat despretly. We stopped by here and enjoyed stupendous service and fabulous flavours. On top of all that they had an extremly reasonble price.

I tried the Philly cheesesteak at John’s Place, and it was okay. It wasn’t the worst sandwich I’ve had, but it definitely wasn’t the best either. The portion was decent, and it filled me up, but the flavor was pretty average and didn’t really stand out. Overall, it’s fine if you’re hungry and nearby, but I probably wouldn’t go out of my way for it.
