DO NOT STAY HERE!!

This hotel is filthy, run down and in need of a serious deep clean. The tub spout is broken in room 229 when you pull the lever to activate shower head, half water comes out and half fills tub. Which is a problem when the tub keeps backing up. When I told staff about it they sent someone up. However, they didn’t fix the problem, shower pressure still comes out at half pressure. Also, they left the wad of disgusting matter that was removed from the drain in the middle of our bathroom.
Elevator floor was extremely filthy- see photo.
The front doors closed and wouldn’t open as my husband tried to enter the building. He had to pry them open to get back inside.

This hotel is gross and I would NEVER recommend this place.
Dinner in onsite restaurant was delicious. Stay somewhere else, ANYWHERE else, but visit for dinner.

Rooms: Rooms are dirty and outdated. Shower did not function properly and bathroom was unclean.

This was our worst stop in a 3 week road trip. The rooms are OK but the pillows are so big and uncomfortable (like you're almost sitting). They have a laundry but they charge an abusive 5$ per load + 3 for the washer and its not inside the building. They have no change and their usual response for everything is to jump on the car and drive to where you can find change, breakfast, etc.
The area is also very very sketchy. I know that's not on the hotel but still, to be kept in mind if visiting Joshua tree.

Great room, but they need to change the brand of whatever they're cleaning the bathrooms with.. they smell horrible. Had to ask for air freshener

Rooms: Stinky bathrooms

I had one of the worst hotel experiences. The door wouldn't close unless slammed shut, gap on the door that compromised my privacy. I reported this to the staff, but they claimed they couldn't do anything about it. When I asked to switch rooms, they offered alternatives at an additional cost. Unwilling to pay more, I stayed in the room. However, noisy neighbors partying until 2 AM, blasting music and screaming, made it impossible to sleep. I had to call the front office twice to request quiet. I didn't sleep until 3 AM and had to wake up at 6 AM for plans. Absolutely unacceptable. 0 stars.

Rooms are a bit outdated but it’s really clean and that is was matters to me. Staff was nice and the area is calm although there were a lot of sketchy people at the parking lot at the mall nearby.

We were very early to check in and so this property actually wanted to charge $30 for an early check in.
We don't know this from Germany or Switzerland: if the room is finished and ready to move into, you can go in.
So we spent a few more hours exploring the place and finding out what you can see in the national park at the Visitor Center.

The hotel doesn't offer breakfast, so we drove to John's Place the first morning and checked out at 5am the second morning because we had a long drive to the next accommodation.

The room was average, clean and tidy.
The pool was okay, the water pleasantly cool and refreshing for the area.

The location to the national park is exceptionally good.

The gentleman at the reception was very friendly, he couldn't do anything for the early check-in fee.

Good location for the NP. Supermarket is just around the corner.
Pool was dirty and all chairs and loungers could not be used because they were broken.
The covered outdoor area was also unusable because it was cluttered with old mattresses and furniture.

I stayed here for a week while visiting friends in the area and I couldn’t have had a better experience. Cheryl at the front desk was super-friendly and extremely accommodating. My room was clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub very well-maintained and kept at perfect temperatures. The food at Mexican restaurant inside the hotel was fantastic and reasonably priced. I look forward to my next visit and staying here again!

Rooms: My room was spacious, cool, exceptionally clean, and the bed was comfortable (medium firm).

Nearby activities: Near downtown 29 Palms and only a 20 minute drive from all that Joshua Tree has to offer.

Safety: I never felt unsafe here. The parking lot is very well lit and they have cameras all around the building.

Food and drinks: The food at the Mexican restaurant inside the hotel was fantastic and reasonably priced. I did not have any drinks there.

Sleep driving again. Came across Oasis Inn! Called to see id by chance a room was available at 5am. I was blessed with Michelle. Not only a pleasure to speak with, but she went above and beyond to accommodate me in about one of the only rooms available. Beautiful room hot shower and a nap. If ever in 29 palms come to the Oasis! You won't be disappointed. Thank you Michelle you literally saved my life

Really straightforward hotel. Very pleased with how clean and quiet it is. Free parking and staff was nice. Also close to Joshua Tree and reasonably priced. Only downside is they no longer have a barbecue grill that they advertise on their website amenities and their outdoor fireplace is out of order. Will definitely return though.
