Maximilianos’s is AMAZING! While, visiting the JT National Park, we stayed in 29 Palms. We were craving Mexican food and this restaurant was highly recommended. The food was 100% authentic and the charm of the restaurant with great customer service really made for an enjoyable experience! We definitely will be back!!

We ate at Maximilianos last night. The service was exceptional and we really enjoyed the food. The portions were huge and we could not finish it all. We had a veggie burrito and slow roasted pork quesadilla. We recommend this place?

This place has huge burritos and the meat is good. The salsa is tasty and not too hot. Only thing that could make this place better is some background music and alcohol ?

Very quiet when we got there. $4.50 for a street taco was a little hard to swallow. They were good, but come on! Guess everyone has rent to pay.

I found this low key Mexican restaurant on a drive from Las Vegas to Palm Springs. It is good!! The server was friendly and talked about their food. I was torn between the Birria and the Chile Verde Pork options, because they offer both! I chose the Green Chile and thought it was one of the most flavorful versions of this dish that I’ve ever had. I found this restaurant to be very authentic. The server even said that they received some negative feedback because their food doesn’t taste the American way. I applaud restaurants that support authenticity because it will draw customers from farther away who are seeking the real deal.

I totally recommend this place when passing through town.

It was very good. The food wasn't expensive for the amount of food you get. There is something for everyone. I can only highly recommend it. We were allowed to eat on site even though they were closed, they opened it for us. Everything is freshly prepared. You didn't have to wait long for the good food. The service was very good, very nice, friendly and personable

Vegetarian options: It has vegetarian dishes highly recommended. The kitchen is very good

Parking: You have a free parking space behind the restaurant

Don't waste your money here. I spent $40 on a dozen tamales and didn't even get what I ordered. There's only two options on Uber Eats, and I got something completely off the menu. They didn't even turn out good. They were soggy, crumblely, and bland.

I had the chicken enchilada plate and their chicken enchiladas are EASILY the best in Twentynine Palms! The chicken was amazing and the sauce was as well! The people who work there are very kind and respectful and I can’t wait to eat here again!

We got a wide range of plates, burritos, enchiladas, quesabirrias and a side of elote. Everything came out fast and was delicious.
The owner was extremely friendly and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed and that the food was to our liking. We’ll come again when we visit Joshua tree NP.
