Very tasty food and authentic street tacos, much needed for the city of 29. Be prepared to bring cash if intend on getting food

Lol, some dude really compared this place to Castaneda. SMH. Not the greatest in the world, but you're not going to find real asada as in actually grilled for $3 a taco anywhere else in California. Anywhere else you're paying $5.

Food was really good. I loved it so much! I wish they can take credit card payments, but yeah love the asada

The food is ok. The beans used are from a can and not warm. Food is being cooked on a open charcoal grill that isn't being cleaned (burnt charred bits of meat other than asada in my meal, and the grill was visible). Portion size to price ratio is HIGH compared to anywhere else in town, like Castanedas up the street, who has to pay for permits and clean cooking surfaces - unlike this setup. I would not recommend unless you are feeling generous. Maybe the worst place in town for Mexican food. Honest review. The people are friendly, food not so good.

Really nice family from Oaxaca, Mexico — they speak Mixe — an indigenous language — in addition to Spanish.
Come try their delicious tacos! They’re there every day (Except Mondays and on Bad Weather days) starting at 1830 until about 11 or 12.
