Do you want to dine in the middle of nowhere, out in the middle of the desert. Well here's a place for you. The Palms Restaurant in Twentynine Palms, California is located on the outskirts of the town on Amboy.Road
We were out taking photos of the "End Of The World" and we knew that the Palms Restaurant was going to open soon. We had dine there once before for breakfast and had a fantastic experience. So this time we wanted to see what they offered.
When you first walked in you will first see a bar area and you will get to say Hi to some of the friendly locals. The front area is spacious and there are a few booths and table to dine. The main dining room is also very spacious and offers more seating for dining. They also do offer an outdoor dining area that has a large stafe for bands. The main dining room also has a stage. The decor was quirky, eclectic, and fun. As we were dining we both felt like we were in the 1996 movie " Dusk Till Dawn" by Quentin Tarantino. The restaurant gave that vibe lol.
The menu wasn't very extensive and the pricing was not expensive at all. In fact, it's probably the cheapest meal we had this entire road trip. We ordered a few items. They were all delicious.
The service is great. Nothing really to complain about when you get friendly service especially with a little conversation and a smile.
Overall both experience were great. Love the mood, atmosphere, and vibe of the Palms Restaurant.

Home away from home on every level! Great food and to our amazement also includes Vegan options! And the entertainment is off the charts! A hidden gem at the “End of the World”!

Eleven Moonshine
THIS place. Is the right place. The right time. Exact. Don’t even question. Just beyond it, you can drive and drive and find nothing but stars and sand. The other direction, and you get to the increasing sinkhole of desert boho chic as it leaks like an oil spill from LA….. hmmm, was still pretty clean there. It maybe marks the line, between those worlds. But it still lies on the right side, the dusty open empty one. Hope it never changes. That it gets sopped up into some vortex that will protects it from the changing of the worlds…. I stopped in on my way out to get lost. Breakfast was divine. Coffee was rich like we will never be. Once I’m back, I’ll be back. Recommended, but only go if you can leave the camera in the car…. Don’t be trying to steal its spirit through your lens and top ten postings. Keep it class

Very low prices! Definitely a dive bar /restaurant. The people are what make this place pleasant they are friendly and very much hippies and or open minded folk. Friday nights they have open mic nights — expect anything. Vegan friendly.
