If I lived around here I would be here every week and try every flavor of paleta, but instead I visit every couple of years, and stand there and hem and haw about what to try. There's too many good options! But the staff is always so patient and helpful. This place is a treasure.
There aren't many places like this. We Puerto Ricans make limbers, very similar to palettes. Many flavors to choose from for all types of people. We try the caramel shortbread with Maria cookies, the coconut, mango and oreo popsicle. All delicious. Good price for the quantity of product. So, if you pass through Ukiah, CA don't forget to stop here.
I can't believe everything is HOME MADE!!! The clerk was EXTREMELY helpful to a couple of gringos. I was buying the ice cream for my family who live in Ukiah and we have never been to this shop but they have. And they rave about the ice cream. We had to try it for ourselves. The kids were right. This place is AWESOME. The ice cream is awesome. We will be back for more.
