We were SO pleasantly surprised to find such a hidden gem with such delicious and masterfully presented meals, drinks with so much care and attention put into them, as well as service that was attentive and educating. Well worth the 55 minute drive to experience again, and we will definitely be making a repeat visit soon!”

“I love Mama’s! Today I went in to grab one of their amazing breadsticks and they didn’t have any. Instead I grabbed a maple pecan scone and it was the best scone I’ve ever had. I’m in scone heaven.”

“We were in town for business and decided to give Patrona a try. We found every aspect of our experience there to be exceptional. We both had the rib eye steak, but added on a couple appetizers, including the focaccia and the broccoli soup. So tasty! The steaks were tender and very flavorful - perfectly prepared, in our opinion, and for fun we ordered all three of their steak condiments. Really, everything was fantastic, and I have to include the service as well as she provided several helpful suggestions when ordering (including the tamarind margarita special!). Really, it was a wonderful experience all around. Highly recommended.”

“I been to this restaurant twice since the remodeling. Both times they were short servers,although all employees gather to help and work as a team, Olivia the only sever present does a very good job, she tries to keep a smile but knows she needs help, she doesn't let customers know her struggle they can see for themselves. I watch and hear Olivia spend time helping customers get what they need, even with tables full of customers. Olivia needs a bonus and extra day off with pay, so that you can keep good help, regardless Olivia has proven her strengths and worth she is an asset, don't forget she's human. “I have not had authentic Greek food in a long, long time, and this is just absolutely the best! The portions are huge (I had the gyro greek salad, and it will last me for two days, at least lol); the gyro meat is sliced so thin, and it melts in your mouth; the feta has an almost ricotta-like texture, and it was divine; the olives are delicious; and the tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions are crisp. I cannot wait to go back and try more of their menu. The owners are a lovely couple, and I’m looking forward to seeing more of them.”

“This place is a delight to go to. It is inside the land of 10000 buddha monastery. We have been here 3 times and everytime the food was wonderful. It was the same this time around. We ordered fried rice, sauteed vegetable with garlic and ginger sauce and their dumplings. We left clean and wiped plates after our lunch. As an added bonus as we drove out we saw so many beautiful peacocks and peahens.”

“This is our favorite go to stop when traveling thru ukiah! Been there a few times now and the service is so excellent. Everyone that we have met there is always so kind and a little extra sweet. Not sure if it's the donuts sugaring them up... but keep up the great work! The donuts are the best I've ever had!! Fresh every time!”

I mean the chili verde is like one of the best ones I've ever had anywhere hands down. “I’m so obsessed with these snow cones that I’ll come up with any excuse to go to Costco in Ukiah, an hour from home, just so I can grab one. I order the exact same flavor every time. At this point, I’ve had enough of them to say with absolute certainty: when the older man makes it, it’s the best snow cone on earth. Perfect texture. Perky. Icy. Heaven.

But when the younger woman makes it, it turns out like snow cone soup. Very wet, no structure, just… wet slush. I’m assuming the snow all comes from the same machine, so I have no idea how his are so firm and refreshing while hers are so soupy.

The flavor’s great either way, so it’s still a treat, but for me it really throws the whole texture off and I’m bummed. Usually I go alone, so it’s not a big deal if it’s a “meh” day. But one time I hyped these up like crazy and brought my teenager along. She handed us two cups of soup, and I had to convince him I wasn’t lying about how amazing they usually are.

Still obsessed. Just hoping I catch the right snow cone artist next time.”

“4.5 Stars. One of the best bars in town, hands down! I've been coming to this place for almost 20 years. Best vibe. They used to have a free shuttle but it got shut down. Def should bring that back! Biggest draught beer selection in town. Love it when they have events, (which they should have more of). Now with the delicious restaurant there too, it's pretty great. Only thing I absolutely dislike is that they brought that stupid punching game in. It makes 'bros' get extra Chad-y on busy nights. That's just a general rule that has never let me down, so I avoid places on busy nights that have that game, no matter where I go.”

“Been to this place a few times now. It’s truly the best Mexican food in town. So many great flavors and one particular salsa that’s actually spicy! The absolute best chili relleno in town…nah, the entire county! They have been nothing short of consistent with every visit. And they have something for everybody.”

“I’m from SoCal where street tacos are prime no matter where you go. Moved out here and was craving them as they are a lot harder to come by then in SoCal where they’re on every corner. Lalo’s filled that gap and are the best tacos I’ve had in Northern California. Definitely a must stop!!”

“Our family with 5 of us visited to Ukiah, CA early this month Sept 2023. We dined in The Lotus restaurant and all of us were pleased with the friendly & great service, so delicious foods and awesome Sushi which we did order. The total cost was not expensive at all, only almost $100 for about 5 dishes & 2 Sushi orders. The restaurant is not a big place, but it looks very nice, clean and cozy environment. We strongly & highly recommend this place to everyone.”

“My “42nd” different Starbucks only 2 days after my 41st was caught in a shadow (the one on Airport Park Blvd by Walmart). I had pre planned a stop at this Starbucks at some point on my 3-day work trip. Since the Ukiah Brewery’s desserts were too big, I chose to stop here: DONE! On the skateboarding route, I had to get off the board because of a tweaker on the sidewalk. And, the service was good not great and there was something about the atmosphere that I didn’t like. I’m glad they had the brownie and Dubai Chocolate Bite. They worked well with my hotel’s microwave and my last glass of wine. Through the route as I almost forgot the idea of this Starbucks, I still was able turn back towards it and still take care of an important part of the work stuff on this trip. When I got to my hotel, one of my 2 favorite concierges was on duty. There I would have had a better more fun experience buying an Ice Cream Sandwich or a Drumstick, but I accomplished what I wanted to accomplish by claiming credit for visiting a second of Ukiah’s 3 Starbucks’. I still am glad I chose the Perkins Street Starbucks in the Brewery’s dessert situation; I did something that I wanted to do. Too bad the timing situation didn’t allow me to take a photo to post.”

“The older gentleman working here knows how to build a salad and bowl!! Instead of the normal spoonfulls of each ingredient, he gently spread out the ingredients to create an appealing salad (and bowl for my husband) that we didn't have to mix myself. Forgot to take pictures before but it was delicious!!”
