Vegetarian restaurants. Good Chinese food.
Good food.
The food was amazing and they are fabulous ambassadors for veganism! Many people in Ukiah who are non-vegan recommended we go without us even telling them we are vegan! Stay for a walk and to go to the beautiful temple and see the peacocks too!

Jyun Kang Vegetarian Restaurant tucked away in a Buddhist monastery campus with deer, peacocks, and rabbits roaming free. The setting is serene and peaceful, and people are kind. The food is affordable, quality vegan, and many dishes can be made gluten free. Dishes include tofu satay sticks, snow lily, sweet & sour soy protein, Singaporean noodles, dumplings, seaweed roll, green bean curd, hot & sour soup, satay, eggplant with basil, and sweet and sour balls. People often enjoy quick food and the chance to walk around the campus before lunch. The restaurant is cash only, no credit cards. Support a good cause while enjoying delicious dishes. It has been praised for its simple, delicious food and calm setting, and many have been coming after years.
