“I was glad to see they were open with what looks like construction going on around it. My husband had stopped by the week prior and it was closed. Also two weeks after it was closed. Would really like to know when they are definitely open and not just drive by to see.We decided to try the quesabirria tacos and we got respados. We were only ones there around mid afternoon and they were out of the strawberry. I got a pineapple one my husband got the mango one.Everything was delicious, didn't care for the salsa Verde but the salsa roja was on point! The tacos were so good. But I crave the respados, it keeps its flavor until the very end. I can't seem to get any because they are closed every time my husband goes by on a random weekday afternoon.“
“Heard great reviews about this restaurant and visited with my Father this week. In a strip mall, this restaurant succeeded in providing a friendly, welcoming vibe right upon entry. We were greeted by a sweet young girl who waited on us, probably still in high school. Ordering the Taco Salad with tasty seasoned small chunks of beef and the Fish taco platter, we absolutely loved the food. Dinner menu had a great variety, and service was excellent, Manager also checked on us, everything was thumbs up. Kudos to the chefs, the presentation and quality of the dishes was above my expectation. Growing up in Ukiah but living in LA for the past 30 years, I can say this place would fit right in the big city and do very well. Very glad Ukiah has this place, looking forward to my next visit and wishing the owners all the best.“
“The Torta Cubana is my favorite. Their burger is delicious, as are the tacos, flautas, and quesadilla. I've never been disappointed by a meal at Johnny's. If you haven't paid them a visit maybe you should.Parking: It's a big parking lot with lines on it that show where you can put your car. There is room for roughly 30 - 80 vehicles.“
“Shrimp fajita was spiced perfectly. The Fish Taco and Chile Relleno plate was also VERY GOOD! They give you a choice between breaded or grilled fish... which is nice. The Queen and I both enjoyed our meals! And she's not thrilled about Mexican food! Standard Mexican restaurant decor, with a chill vibe for a Friday afternoon. Very quick service, food was ready within 10 mons of ordering.Vegetarian options: Refried beans may contain lard...not sure, but they had a very rich and smooth texture... which is usually from lard or some other animal fat.Parking: Right out front and on the side of the building, about 20 spotsKid-friendliness: Booths and tables, kids menu, easy bathroom accessWheelchair accessibility: On ground level“
“I had the Al Pastor burrito and I was very pleasantly surprised. The food was intensely flavored. I’m not talking hot spicy, I’m talking a beautiful blend of seasoning in perfect balance that was powerfully tasty. The chef preparing these ingredients has some serious talent because this is not easy to do. A beautiful Mission style burrito. Compliments to the chef.“
“Hands down the best fish tacos in town they’re perfectly crisp w right amount of topping I love that they have the little to go bar tons of carrots & mild jalapeños which I doubt any Taquerias has not that I can recall (as far as the carrots part) but I enjoy coming here haven’t had the chance to try anything else bc I’m obsessed w their fish tacos nom nom nom also great customer service & cute immaculate restaurant“
“I noticed this place as I was heading out of town and decided I better give it a shot. The food was fast and tasty. I really enjoyed the salsa and chips that are offered to you. The service was above average and the waitress that we had was beyond sweet. The atmosphere of this place makes you feel as you are in Mexico. I would say give this place a shot and see if the Mexican food here soothes your taste buds.“
“Saw some nice reviews so wanted to give my feedback too. Be prepared to eat well here. The plates were huge, and very delicious. We took more home than we could eat there. Ambiance was cool with live mariachi. Next time we're in Oakland, I would go again.“
“I travel to Ukiah for work on a regular basis, have tried the food up and down the city and area. This spot has DELICIOUS tacos. I put a lot of weight on rice and beans and theirs is some of the best I've had, near par with el paso/border town Texas.VERY unassuming looking food truck with a very confusing name.A mandatory stop for me on every trip here.“
“Great fresh consistent food. I highly recommend the Huevos Rancheros or anything (enchiladas, burrito enchilada style) with the green tomatillo sauce. The salsa is nice and hot, the chips are homemade, and the owner is delightful, very attentive, and remembers your order preferences if you visit regularly.“

“This place is a gem! Was stuck at the hospital with my wife and got to sneak away for a bite to eat. Some of the best Mexican food I've ate. Ate there on a Thursday around noon. It was busy with locals so plan ahead 100 percent worth the wait. I'm from the valley and know good Mexican food this place exceeded my expectations! Salute!“
