“Amazing food! Our office heard about this place and did an order for 5....Dear Lord! The Elotas were soooo good! Everyone was raving about their food. I would like to stop by tonight and order for dinner too!😄😁“

“I’m so obsessed with these snow cones that I’ll come up with any excuse to go to Costco in Ukiah, an hour from home, just so I can grab one. I order the exact same flavor every time. At this point, I’ve had enough of them to say with absolute certainty: when the older man makes it, it’s the best snow cone on earth. Perfect texture. Perky. Icy. Heaven.

But when the younger woman makes it, it turns out like snow cone soup. Very wet, no structure, just… wet slush. I’m assuming the snow all comes from the same machine, so I have no idea how his are so firm and refreshing while hers are so soupy.

The flavor’s great either way, so it’s still a treat, but for me it really throws the whole texture off and I’m bummed. Usually I go alone, so it’s not a big deal if it’s a “meh” day. But one time I hyped these up like crazy and brought my teenager along. She handed us two cups of soup, and I had to convince him I wasn’t lying about how amazing they usually are.

“Food is delicious. The mulitas and California Burrito me and the homie get are always good, tasty and worth it. Definitely Good Quality of food and amount is definitely worth the price.

The service is amazing as well. Owner is friendly and engage with customers.

“this is my favorite go to place for Mexico. it's understated but they have the best menudo and exquisite chile verde. I mean the chili verde is like one of the best ones I've ever had anywhere hands down. I'd go there just for the chili verde but everything else is good too. and they're good people and the place is clean and they're open good hours“

“My first time eating at La Cocina was amazing!🤩 we were on a road trip and found this beautiful restaurant tucked into other buildings.

“Best burritos in the Ukiah/Clearlake area! Emongous size burritos. HUGE! Their chili Verde is primo. Stewed properly tender. And the tomatillo sauce was very tasty in generous amount for you to dip your steamed corn tortillas in. We usually do take outs, but once in a while do dine in. Dinning room is typical mom and pop strip mall type restaurant affair. Nothing fancy, but comfortable and relaxed. We like it that way actually. Price is still reasonable, especially given the generous serving size. Would definitely recommend.“

“Been to this place a few times now. It’s truly the best Mexican food in town. So many great flavors and one particular salsa that’s actually spicy! The absolute best chili relleno in town…nah, the entire county! They have been nothing short of consistent with every visit. And they have something for everybody.“

“El Molcajete was recommended to us by friends in Ukiah. It did not disappoint. I love Mole and theirs is great! I have not had any better in my 75 years on Earth. My wife loved her cheese enchilada and chili relleno. Even the frijoles were good, not just an afterthought.

The service was great and so was the atmosphere. The waitress was very friendly and I heard a great deal of Mexican spoken from some of the other tables. That's always a good sign.

“Best tacos in Ukiah! Also need to give a special shout out as this is the ONLY place in Ukiah that will make a Mulita. Most other vendors look at you crazy when you ask for one. This place is awesome and beats all of the other places around. Meat bomb. Salsa bomb. Prices great. This is the place!“

“I’m from SoCal where street tacos are prime no matter where you go. Moved out here and was craving them as they are a lot harder to come by then in SoCal where they’re on every corner. Lalo’s filled that gap and are the best tacos I’ve had in Northern California. Definitely a must stop!!“
