“So I've been past las cazuelas quite a few times. It seems like they are always busy but this time not so much so I pulled in off the highway to get some lunch. I will say the food quality is good. The burrito that I had was very large and very tasty. The homemade avocado salsa and red salsa was very good. I also got the tacos adobada which you don't always see around here and they were very tasty as well. I give them. Kudos for using the small flower tortillas rather than the typical corn Tortillas I see around here. The marinated pork for the tacos had good flavor in spice but not overwhelming... Now since this is a taco truck. I would consider it fast food but the quality is much better. The service was good and for being outside they did provide places to set and wait... My only real complaints is prices for 2 tacos an a burrito. It was like $24.00 I don't usually mind paying a little more for good quality food but it did seem like much. I do recommend them and I would say compared to other Mexican food trucks in Lake county they are on the top tier.“
“I ordered the Argentinian Ribeye Steak.Perfectly cooked with chimichurri sauce, mushrooms, country potatoes and a cherry tomato mixed green salad with shaved parmesean. It was delucious. Tiramusu was also delicious. The service was great and friendly. The prices were very affordable given the great quality of the food. We will tell our friends and definitely come again.“
“Was charging an EV at the nearby free charger and happened to stumble on this establishment. I was quite pleasantly surprised by all aspects, the building was clean and modern, service was great and of course last but not least the chicken burrito I had was quite good and at a very reasonable price.Parking: Nearby free EV charger“
“I always get my favorite carna sada tostada with side of rice & beans if really hungry,or just tostada. Always pretty yummy. Ordered tacos few times and got chicken by mistake, and they never say sorry or refund that's my only issue, but it's one my favorite Mexican places. Everyone makes a mistake now& then?“
“This is the new best Mexican restaurant in my opinion. Everything was fresh the meat was juicy and well flavored and dunking your taco in the mild salsa is over the top. Haven't tasted great Mexican food like this since the Cactus grill closed.“
“Best Mexican restaurant in Lake County, hands down. The owners, Omar and Liz, are some of the best people around as well. Food ALWAYS tastes fantastic!! We love this place.Parking: Large parking lot to the rear of the restaurant. A few spaces up front.“
“This is our new pit stop when we travel from Humboldt to Sacramento on Highway 20. The burritos are huge! We picked up two on our way to fly out of Sacramento and could only eat one so we brought one to Hawaii and enjoyed it there! On our way back we stopped again and it really is a great road food choice for that drive! The hot salsa is a green salsa and is very good, I will be getting an order of that for later use next time! Great staff and a clean dining area with TV to watch if you are alone and a full bar that joins the restaurant. We were driving, so we didn't get anything from the bar. Perhaps sometime we can try a cocktail when we are not in a rush. We did get horchata both times too which is another nice treat for the drive and theirs is perfectly made. They were kind enough to double wrap our burrito order because we were eating in the car and we had the spicy green sauce added to the burrito on the second trip through so we didn't have to try and do that in the car driving. Please drive safe on the 20 and enjoy the beautiful scenery and local food options like this wonderful little restaurant.“
“Stopped by before making my way back to Santa Rosa, and the staff was super friendly. The food was excellent, and very well priced. Just over ten bucks for a super burrito, and I am not kidding when I say it was almost the size of my forearm....“
“Seafood was great, good service and love the birria tacos!Update for 2 /2/24 I just had there stew Carne en su jugo. Never had anything like it before very thick and Hardy. You can use tortillas with it, which came out wonderful. Has beef , beans, vegetables and a hearty spicy broth. I recommend the stew like dish and would definitely get it again. I will advise that it is a special and not on the regular menu..“
“From the moment you walk in you feel like family! The food is so dang good, the staff is amazing and the atmosphere is awesome! They have monthly live music and word on the street is they're transforming their outdoor patio into a little oasis by Summertime. DELICIOUS and fun margaritas you won't find anywhere else in the County and just an all around great place to go for lunch, dinner or after work drinks with friends. Gracias, Cabo's!“
“Quick and tasty lunch stop. $15 for a super burrito and large horchata. Gave me a small container of Pico de Gallo and a fried jalapeño for free! Most places charge for the Pico. The service was friendly and quick. I was FULL when finished. It's in the parking lot across the street from Meno Mill. And it's open on Wednesday, unlike La Chilinguitas. ?Vegetarian options: Just don't add meat...?Parking: It's a food truck in a parking lot...???“
“Some of the best tortillas (corn & flour), you will ever have. Just made tortillas, right there in the building. The people working there were all very friendly. I've only lived in Lake County a short while but I've already been back here several times.“
