6 Best Mexican Restaurants near Colusa

“Visited August 29 2025..see my receipt as always.

I was craving Mexican food and I found this great restaurant in Colusa ( Off Fremont Street).

I got there right when they opened (11 am) and was greeted by a friendly and sweet lady ( Elizabeth). I was given complimentary chips and salsa ( love the habanero along with regular salsa).

I got the lunch special that came with an enchilada and tamale (#3) along with rice and beans. WOW,,,UNDER 13 BUCKS! The tamale was my favorite with alot of flavor and the rest of the dish was super delicious as well!

It's nice to be able to sit down in the restaurant and relax with air conditioning! They also have a large selection of beer ( wine also is available). Take out also available.

Its a very clean restaurant with plenty of parking. Restroom was spotless.

I would normally spend 20 bucks elsewhere for the same dish! This dish had alot of flavor and good seasoning!

It is wallet friendly and I plan on coming here again soon for some really good Mexican food!

Wow...what a nice surprise! This Mexican restaurant is located in Colusa with plenty of inside dining .

NANCY waited on me and she was so kind and helpful with menu choices. I had the carne asada burrito which was overflowing with meat! Love the taste with their beans ( not canned) and cilantro. SO fresh! Their salsas and even their chips were delicious! Meat was seasoned with love! I could only eat alittle bit and the rest was to go.

It was nice and cool inside and very relaxing. I was blown away by all the items made by scratch. AUTHENTIC!

I honestly can't wait to come back and try more items! DON'T pass this place up! Plenty of parking.

This is a cute little Mexican restaurant in Colusa. CASH ONLY!

I got 2 small beef enchiladas to go along with complimentary chips.

The enchiladas were very flavorful! Love the hot green salsa!

The 2 older Spanish ladies were very kind and I heard they make the best Menudo!

I didn't see any bathrooms. They have soft drinks as well ( no wine or beer).

When I pass through Colusa I notice this place is always busy!

This is my first time here. I like that they have outside covered seating for humans and your fur babies!
They have indoor seating as well.

I ordered the 2 enchilada plate with rice and beans. I ordered carne asada meat and it was good. Plenty of food! Rice and beans were good as well.

They also have sodas and ice cold beer. Friendly employees ( thanks you Argelia).

They have been in business for 14 years according to the waitress and still going strong. They also have lunch specials.
