I would describe this as more tropical mexican with multiple seafood options and most meats are marinated. It was good but not a tone of options for me personally. Staff was warm and friendly

I spent almost $18 on a burrito that was supposed to be stripsteak, beans, rice and cheese. Unfortunately I got almost no cheese even though I paid for two kinds. Almost no steak and almost all rice. I would not go here again unfortunately. Just overall very disappointing The server was super nice but other than that just overall extremely disappointed. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place

This was a great meal for the price, we both got Chimichangas a chicken which had so much flavor as well fried pork belly. For the price and quickness of serves, La Cocina was a great choice for dinner. It is like 40 feet from our hotel and couldn’t be happier by eating there. I highly recommend stopping by for dinner or a meal.

Super good food and great service!
Food was ok, adequate at best. Server never came back and ask if we wanted anything else, preferred to chat and eat with their friends who were hanging out at the counter. Not coming back.

La Cocina is one of my family’s favorite spots in Ukiah! The staff is always so welcoming, and the food is consistently fresh and delicious. I especially love their kids’ menu—it makes dining out with my little ones so much easier and more fun. It’s a place where we can enjoy a casual family dinner, and I always recommend it in my Unlocking Ukiah guide because it’s such a great local gem for families.
