My dad got the carne asada and said it was the best he’s ever had— very high praise from a carne asada lover!

Sercice was good, but mushy rice, overly salty pastor, and the pi of de gallo tasted stale.

The food is super fresh. And really good. Those are the best fish tacos I've ever had.

The beer is cold, the salsa spicy, and the tacos are on point.

Got here at 9:30am and there were already 4-5 big tables having margaritas and beer. Well, then I will join too! Joanna was our server, and she was awesome. She and her counterparts were very attention. If I just glanced their way for a second, one of them would come over to ask if I needed anything.
Food is really good, reasonably priced and good fresh quality.
Parking looked easy, although we walked over from a nearby hotel. I think I had a mango or peach margarita, and it was GOOD.
Would definitely come back again.

I live in Lake County and will only eat Mexican food at La Cocina. I am originally from Southern California where there are many quality Mexican food restaurants. In Northern California they are few and far between. So far, in Lake and Mendocino County, after eating at many, this is the best Mexican food restaurant I have found available and the prices are very reasonable

just awful. Aguachile tasted somehow.. cajun? And way too vinegary. Even the horchata was bad, like drinking shampoo

Excellent! The kids burrito was huge and came with rice, beans, chips and guacamole. Will be back when we are in this area again
My steak burrito with rice and beans was like biting into a rice burrito and no small pieces of steak towards the end ! My 11 year old said his nachos were full of chips no beans or meat 😕
Nice spot! Jessica was super accommodating to a vegan request. The drinks were not only beautiful with great presentation but also very tasty!
