Was here in Ukiah for a golf tournament and saw the Schats banner on the #1 T box and decided to check it out. Walking in the door I noticed the great atmosphere, Cabinets with delicious baked goods and the smell of coffee wafting through the air. There was a young men meticulously cleaning tables which as a clean freak, what's nice to see. Everything from the fresh orange juice to the bagel and baked goods that we sampled was fantastic! The staff were working hard to get the line of customers taken care of as quickly as possible. Unfortunately the gal at the register made a couple errors on the order and was a little short when we asked her to fix her mistakes, but the good food made up for it. We'll be back!

I came here with my dad and my six year old daughter, the girl taking my order was not courteous and friendly at all. When ordering one of the pastries she told me the price as if I won’t be able to effort it!! Then she was putting them in the box and I told her it’s for here as my dad and my daughter were already sitting on the table and my daughter was coloring, she goes well you didn’t say so first!!! How am I suppose to do your job? Wouldn’t it make more sense to ask is it for here or to go instead of being smart moth and rude?! In general I noticed none of the helpers smiled to no customer unless they were Spanish speaking. I only leave reviews when they really deserve it, bad or good.

Purchased a $4 hot chocolate and when I grabbed the cup it felt light. I got to the office and opened it up only to find a big portion of it was all foam. I feel kind of skimped for my drink.

Super cute European bakery. Went for lunch here. Got a quiche and salad combo. The quiche was simply huge! For dessert we had a German chocolate cake and a huge chocolate covered cream puff. The desserts were delicious! Not too sweet!
This bakery is locally owned and situated in a quaint downtown area in Ukiah, California, across from the courthouse. Coming in we knew we wanted to try their noteworthy legal-themed lunch options but ended up with a breakfast filled croissant and the German chocolate brownie. The pastry was light and delicious, while the brownie was just amazing. So good, that on the way back through the area a few days later we made it a point to stop again for The Verdict sandwich on some kind of wonderful sheepherder bread, and a chocolate chip cookie. Definitely worth the short drive off the freeway!

Great for a quick bite or coffee. I recommend calling your order in ahead during the lunch rush. Definitely recommend the wraps, iced coffees and the cinnamon rolls! Sometimes it gets crowded, but that’s a sign of quality and loyal customers coming back again and again. To go is always a good option!
