Was here in Ukiah for a golf tournament and saw the Schats banner on the #1 T box and decided to check it out. Walking in the door I noticed the great atmosphere, Cabinets with delicious baked goods and the smell of coffee wafting through the air. There was a young men meticulously cleaning tables which as a clean freak, what's nice to see. Everything from the fresh orange juice to the bagel and baked goods that we sampled was fantastic! Schats is a standard when I come into Ukiah for work. I've been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience. The sandwiches, the salads and the pastries are amazing.
A couple of the pastries we got were very good. The sourdough loaf needs work, we trashed it.
