After a long camping trip, we stopped here and got a falafel gyro, fries and dolmas. It was so friggin good, we got another gyro, this time lamb. It was also beyond delicious. And the service was personable, friendly and welcoming! We saw that this was the case with everyone that came in to pick up orders.
When we were done, we ordered a few small things to go and chatted with the owner a bit. As we were leaving, we realized it was just past closing time, yet we never felt rushed or treated like we were a nuisance for being there at closing time. In fact, it was the complete opposite! What an amazing find; authentic, delicious food that’s reasonably priced AND incredible customer service.

One of my favorite local places. Family run, great food, everything on the menunis good. Caveats : they only take cash, they are only open for lunch, they don't put up with bullsh*t from customers. The food is fantastic, lots of garlic in the humus, and the stuffed grape leaves are incredible. They are great for catering, too.

I went in for gyros and I was surprised at how fast my meal came out! The owner and the staff are incredibly friendly and nice. I however did not like my Philly steak gyro, it lacked more flavor (meat wise) the rest of the ingredients were great, the tzatziki sauce was Spot ON! The dolmas were so good and their fries are absolutely delicious! The minor inconvenience is that you have to pay cash. However they do accept Apple Cash and Venmo but the internet is so slow, be prepared to bring cash or do Apple Cash :)

Spiro’s Gyros was one of the best Greek restaurants that we have gone to. Truly I don’t know where to start; whether it is the food or the people or the experience. For one, the chicken pita is a must-have with perfect flavors balanced out by the savory sauces and the delicious fries. The vegetarian option of falafel was equally scrumptious, and the baklava was sweet and yummy. Furthermore, the people there were kind, respectful, and entertaining, while the place was decorated with peculiar and even hilarious adornments. Don’t forget to look out for the complaint grenade. Overall, the food, the people, and the experience made for an unforgettable time in Ukiah.

I have reviewed quite a few restaurants, delis, etc, and this is my favorite places, hands down. Their food is unparalleled in quality. The environment is calming and wonderful. Highly doubt you will ever see an unhappy customer. The owner is one of the kindest people I've met. He always greets you with a smile, listens and is helpful. You can tell that he puts his heart and soul into the food they make and you can tell when you eat it. Flavor is absolutely amazing.I got the philly cheesesteak steak sandwich which blew me away on the quality. He sliced the meat right when I order it. The bread, steak, cheese, and everything included was absolutely incredible! It was definitely the best philly cheesesteak I've ever had. I've had quite a few over the years from various places but none as good as this.It's great when you see he has repeat customers that gave me advice. Once you try it, you'll definitely be going back.I have never liked lamb, but that's just me personally. A customer suggested trying some lamb, and the owner was kind enough to give me a sample. I was actually blown away. It was amazing, and changed my outlook on lamb. I believe it's there best selling Gyro for good reasons.It's rare when you find a place that has all healthy food and a wide variety for all tastes even vegetarian.Small businesses like this who don't cut corners and make everything with pride make this place stand out.Dont take just my word for it. Stop by and try this place for yourself. You will be greeted with a smile and guaranteed you'll be going back. I'm hungry now just thinking about the place and food.I can't recommend this place enough.Try it for yourself, and you'll understand.Thank you for the wonderful food and experience.
