I’ve been grabbing sandwiches at the bottle shop for over 20 years. This place somehow seems to get better with age in a world where everything is deteriorating rapidly. The sandwiches are somehow better than I remember every time, the staff is friendly and efficient. The store is incredibly clean and well maintained. I greatly appreciate the bottle shop and their ability to be consistently excellent.

Has to be one of the best places to get a deli sandwich in the town of Ukiah. Big fat sandwiches made with delicious ingredients, made by great people. They also have a wonderful selection of drinks to go along with your sandwich. The large sandwich is definitely large enough to be considered two meals for the average person. The sandwiches are so big around that I can't even wrap my hand around it, and I have pretty large hands.

Went in on an 8 hour road trip, and the two ladies working there were such a delight! I was there right after Halloween and they had the cutest decorations. The sandwich options were diverse and I appreciated having variety even to the condiments. Plenty of good snacks and drinks to side with a sandwich too. If you’re on a roadtrip, it’s right off the highway so I’d 10/10 recommend.

The deli sandwiches are the best part. I go there from time to time while on lunch break. My biggest complaint would be the fact that they have a great beer selection, but some of them are outdated. they should know that India pale ale only lasts for about 4 months if it's been stored properly. It doesn't go bad, but the intended flavor profile changes, and not for the better. It's the equivalent of selling a stale bag of chips, yet a lot more expensive. This place would get four or even five stars if they got their inventory straightened out a little bit. I made a special trip to go pick some beer up, and walked away with nothing because I'm not paying for stale beer.
Sandwich was good but the staff is unfriendly. Just a lot of frowny faces. One lady even had her elementary school aged daughter doing homework behind the counter where food is made. Not going back.

My wife is a Ukiah native, but we’ve lived in Ohio for many many years now. The Bottle Shop is one of those places I crave so often and hate that I can’t get here. Whenever we visit her family it’s the first place I have to eat when I’m in California. Yes, even before In-N-Out. I hope it never closes. I don’t know what I’d do if I showed up in Ukiah and I couldn’t get a sandwich. Seriously, don’t skip out on The Bottle Shop. You’ll love it.
