The Thirsty Axe is a super fun place to hang out in Ukiah! The axe throwing is a hoot! Definitely takes some practice. I love how they have live music and food as well. Good bar to hangout with friends or family. The weekly event like trivia night or karaoke night are always fun. The food sometimes takes a little while when busy but typically its not a long wait. The food and drinks are not too expensive and the bartenders are always great.

We had a mixed experience here. The axe throwing was definitely the highlight - super fun and a great activity for groups. Our beers were cold and tasty, which made the vibe better.
Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the same standard. The pretzel was really dense and hard to get through, and while the nachos weren’t the worst, the meat on them looked pretty unappetizing. Some additional toppings would have been nice. Also, it was pretty hot inside and felt like they could really use some A/C, especially during warmer days.
Overall, fun for drinks and axe throwing, but I’d eat somewhere else first.
