This place has a cute outdoor patio and is decorated festively inside. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. The food portions & flavor were average for the price. The coffee was excellent. The staff was great. My family was passing through on a Sunday afternoon, we were able to sit immediately & our food came out hot & pretty quickly. If I lived here, I'd visit again.

Never ever have I had to sit for more than 10 mins to wait for an order… I have waited almost an hour … 20 mins shy of 1 full hour for a DoorDash order…… when asked how much longer she said”I’ll go check” never checked…. Went and helped a customer on their table order but for DoorDash that’s not gonna happen….. I have watched someone come in place an order and leave before I get my DoorDash order… still being ignored

I was going to eat at that other place around the corner but I couldn't find a place to park, so when I spotted a spot right in front of the Windmills Café, I nabbed it. The Homeless Wanderer that approached me explained that the crime rate has escalated dramatically since he's come to town, and he'd be willing to make sure nobody breaks into my truck while I'm in the restaurant...for a small fee of course. He said the chicken and rice dinner is excellent here and the wait person will be happy to bring it right out to me while I guard your truck! It's a small price to pay, so I agreed...and the chicken and rice dinner was Amazing! 5 Stars ☆☆☆☆☆

Very thorough menu for breakfast, lunch and now dinner until 7pm. Everything we’ve had at Windmills had been great and reasonably priced. Not fancy, but very comfortable with friendly staff. Some favorites include: fish and chips, crispy chicken salad, club sandwich, chicken sandwich and more. Large servings usually allow for “doggie bags” for a snack later. Our favorite place for lunch!
