This is 2sd visit. Food is delicious. Dry noodles bean dishes are good but a bit oily. Dumplings still the best.

How to Divine

We waited about 45 to 50 minutes, after we were 16th in line for a table for 2. The entire place was full but after dinner I couldn’t figure out why. The service was very rushed. We were motioned to our table with a nonchalant wave of the hand. The lemon they brought to the table still had the sticker on it.

I had the shrimp and pork potstickers, the pork soup dumplings, and the bone in rib noodles. The rib was the best part of the whole meal. Very well done and seasoned very well. The noodles were good very thick and soft but the broth was very very lack luster. It brought the whole meal down. It was brown broth but it tasted like nothing. No flavor to it. We left it basically untouched, except for the rib.

The potstickers were okay but the wrapper barely held together, falling apart shortly after moving it from the serving plate to my main plate. The soup dumplings were just okay as well. I have had soup dumplings elsewhere that I prefer. I thought they lacked seasoning. It was decent overall. Very hyped up to not impress me personally.

Fantastic food!! Quick service. The tables are large and can accomodate moderate sized groups. Was a bit loud and hectic, but it was a Saturday night!

Always very busy, but best dumpling noodle house around for sure.

Get noodle soups, get dumplings, duh. Stir fries are good too. Can't really go wrong with this menu. Good for larger parties (18 people or less).

While waiting, wander around the Daiso in the plaza.

We enjoyed our first visit here. It is a modern restaurant where you write the quantity on a menu. The staff punch in the order and give you back a ticket of your order. The dishes come out when they're ready and the staff crosses the item off your ticket.

We got 9 dishes. The combination chow mein was surprisingly good. The honey walnut prawn was a good portion and nice and crispy under the sauce. Their take on broccoli beef was refreshing, not boring.

Someone in the reviews said the peashoots could have more garlic, and while not bad, I'd agree that they could use either some more salt or garlic.

I preferred the pork xlb over the crab meat xlb. We also ordered their special golden shrimp roll. It was delicious and fresh, but it was not that special. I must be missing what makes it a special.

The pig-shaped custard buns were cute and delicious. They gave us 3 different colored pigs; we wondered if they had different custard flavors but they were all regular custard. I would get them again.

We would probably try their strawberry chocolate xlb for dessert next time!

It was an enjoyable dinner, and we would come again!

Great service with attention to detail and super efficient despite busy dinner rush. Atmosphere was great as well perfect for any group size. There can be a short wait.

Tried several dishes! Shrimp & Pork Wonton was phenomenal - the thin noodle wrapper with savory filling was great but the spicy sauce they were in was not spicy and more bland than your usual sichuan style. The Zhajian noodle dish was so nostalgic and felt like simple home cook food for me. The dried-fried string bean with pork and their honey walnut prawns were both pretty solid. It seems like they are known for their pork xiao long bao and while they were better than most I’ve had recently - it wasn’t a must order item for me personally. The ginger to pair with the xiao long bao was flavorless but the chili oil was great!

Overall pretty good experience and food. I can see how they can draw a crowd!

The servers kept messing with my plates of food, gave me the check before I even finish my food and within 5 seconds of dropping the check, check if I put my card in there. On one occasion, there are five different servers who kept checking if I already pay my check despite I’m still eating.

Good food, awful service. What a shame

Best Dumplings Ever!!!
We ordered Pork Xiaolongbao (soup dumpling), beef and onion shao mai, pan fried chive dumpling w/ Shrimp and Scallop, Mongolian Beef, and Shrimp Fried Rice. Everything was juicy, super tasty and fresh. The Mongolian Beef was a little salty but really good. The wait time was not very long. Our server was a little dry but he brought our food quickly. 10/10 would recommend.
