Food ok but nothing stands out for the price. Barely any service, utensils have water stains. Would not come again.

Finally got to try Din Ding and I actually really enjoyed it considering pricing is on the higher end for what's offered from what I'm used to 💸 There was no wait since we came early enough for our weekend lunch and got the last available table (nice)!

We ordered XLB (piping hot, soupy, and flavorful), potstickers (crispy + juicy), garlic noodles (nutty flavor, al dente), and bok choy (honestly didn't need the bok choy but it's delicious too). Happy to come back another time to try other items. Seating is on the tight side and the lunch atmosphere is super lively.

This is the absolute best dumpling place, from the soup dumplings to the dessert dumplings. Everything is fresh and delicious. I personally feel this is a must try.

Put my name down in the waitlist and literally saw how the hostess sat another family in our place. And after told me that I was not outside when she came and called me. Mind you they called me to let me know my table was ready on the phone and I told them I was there.

The male waiter has a bad attitude. I went to the store this afternoon to pick up my phone order at union city store. The waiter was tall and strong and had a very bad attitude. He is very indifferent to people and has a very lazy attitude towards everything. Food is delicious but service is horrible. I never want to order from this restaurant again.

We ordered way too much as always. We only had 6 people.

Everything was good. The noodle soups, pot stickers, green beans, soup dumplings, cucumber salad. The sautéed veggies could have used more garlic.

Would definitely come back when in the area. The parking lot gets full since there are a lot of places to eat here.

Best dumplings in the bay! I actually like their pot stickers better than their xiao long bao. But that doesn't mean they make a bad xiao long bao, it just means their pot stickers are just very tasty.

I’m writing to express my disappointment with the service I received during my recent visit to your restaurant. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations and left me feeling quite frustrated and upset.

The service was unprofessional and inattentive, and it significantly affected the overall dining experience. I had looked forward to enjoying a nice meal, but the poor service made it difficult to do so.

I hope you take this feedback seriously and work on improving your service standards, as I believe every customer deserves to be treated with respect and care.

Service was horrible. We came with a stroller and were treated as if we’re holding up the whole restaurant. We were rushed to order before we could even look at the menu, food got thrown on the table and the check was also thrown at us before we had a chance to order dessert. Staff gave us some ugly faces the whole time we were eating there. Sad and unfortunate because the food was good.

Pick-up order, waiter who served at the door really had an unacceptable attitude. Being ignoring customer and even rude. For 2 min encounter I don’t even know how I stepped on his nerve. Seriously, if you don’t like the job, just quit. As a longstanding customer, I was always treated nice by other folks here. That dude is an exception.

Food is 11/10 is literally amazing. Used to come here literally every week with my friend. The food comes out insanely fast. You can also see the lovely workers making it through the see through window they have which is awesome. Prices are affordable. Portions are large and great for sharing. My favorite things are chicken chow mein and pork dumplings.

Never disappointed here. Come early to beat the lunch crowd. Xiaolongbao rivals DTF IMHO. Tofu noodle salad, woodear mushroom with teramera salad, the gyoza, I can keep going.

While the food itself was enjoyable, the service unfortunately left a lot to be desired. If I could, I would give the service 0 stars.

Sunday, May 18, 2025 around 12PM. From the moment we sat down, it felt like we were being rushed. While checking the menu, two servers stood right next to my wife while she was still reviewing the menu, making her visibly uncomfortable. Just two minutes later, they asked if she was ready to order. It set the tone for a meal that felt more like we were on a timer than out to enjoy lunch.

The table we were seated at was quite small, and as dishes started arriving, space quickly ran out. A server placed a hot bowl of soup right on the edge of the table—I had to physically hold it to prevent it from tipping over. When we mentioned that there was no more space for additional dishes and that the hot soup was over the edge on my side, the server ignored our warning and insisted on pushing plates further toward the edge to make room and then left us to deal with the aftermath. It felt careless and unsafe.

While the dumplings and other dishes were solid, the overall dining experience was soured by the inattentive and rushed service. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it for other couples based on this visit. Larger groups seemed to be favored by the servers though.
