I recently tried some dishes at this local place – haleem, chicken biryani, tandoori chicken, and garlic naan. Let me tell you, it was quite the experience. The tandoori chicken and haleem? They had this odd taste that nearly made me feel sick. The biryani was okay at best, might pass for someone who's never tried biriyani before. Overall, not really what I was hoping for, and probably won’t be going back anytime soon.

Best Bangladeshi produce in the bay area and to reply to Soumya Das if you got the fish which is most likely frozen and had it trimmed and cut, clean and had the scales cleaned off you will loose weight on the fish like anywhere else any grocer store theyweigh the fish before cutting it. Do you think by so called stealing from you a couple of dollars they will become rich, they don’t think as low as you.

They steal. In straight face they charged me for 8 pounds of fish and what they gave was 6 pounds. It has happened before also for this shop but this is a steal and they do it in every possible occasion.

Sexist rude man. I walked in and asked if they sold date syrup (I buy this at whole market that I go to regularly), he gave me a very dirty look, and came off very sexist like I was some dirty girl and I was dressed very modestly. I also came to pick up food for my husband and I. My order was right there on the counter and we both looked at it & he knew it belonged to me for pick up but didn't pretended that he didn't believe it wasn't mine. I repeatedly told him my husbands name and what was the order. Still wouldn't give it to me. Sir, there is one bag on your counter and I came to get it. I walked out and let him keep it!

I went to buy imported frozen fish liked by bengalis. He had variety(whatever is allowed inside the US). He was alone. I think he should have a helping hand for quicker service.

The guy who sits on the register is kind of weird. The frozen fish was expired. So, I told him. And he kind of gave me some lame excuse that frozen things don't have any expiration date. Bro, the put the expiration date for some reason right. I didn't the like the fact that he was trying to cover the mistake rather than accepting it. I bought one ruhi fish. The fish was okay. But I would recommend everyone to go to desi bazar desi kitchen rather than this store.

DO NOT ORDER THE CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA!!! It's literally the WORST Masala I've ever tasted!! It tastes like pure sugar, I've never tasted masala this bad that tastes too sweet?! and has no flavor at all. I called the resteraunt for them to correct it and they insisted customers like this garbage. I'm going back later today to get a refund. Never going back there again.

I got the wrong order and called to notify them. 1st the guy said it was the same exact order, which is false lol. They're in 2 completely different sections in the menu. Then he told me he'd give me my right order the next time I ordered. After that rude comment, he told me it was the Uber Eats fault. When i asked him to take accountability, he started yelling at meSo I told him I'd do that, and here I am
