Under renovation. They have Indian sweets. I only ordered take out of samosas. The give it to you in there nice box. I personally can't eat those non gluten free appetizers, but my wife loves those. We drove out of our way to get the samosas from this store to take it to her aunt. Because they give it in one of there nice boxes instead of plain paper bag.

Very Average food. Very oily as well. Stay away if you have heartburn issues.
When called ahead of the visit, employee said $17 for buffet and drink/soda was included.
Both lies. Buffet was almost $19.40 and drink, can of coke was $2.50.
Better buffets around. Recommend one visit per year if that.

Visited today and had a wonderful experience with the buffet it was our first time! The manager was very friendly and welcoming. Staff overall was excellent, and the food was delicious. The girl serving us was very polite, welcoming and genuine care. Her smile and attention to detail truly made the meal special for all of our office team. Big applause to all staff members and the owner for creating such a welcoming Indian restaurant with amazing food and atmosphere.

Overall I would recommend to try them atleast once in Union City location not in San ramon for sure.

I usually visit the US for short business trips, rarely longer than two weeks. During these trips, I almost never eat Indian food. There are two main reasons: first, I’ve just arrived from India and don’t really miss it yet; second, I’ve always believed that Indian food outside India rarely matches the taste and authenticity of home. Sadly, most restaurants I’ve tried here have reinforced that belief—until now.

This restaurant was a complete game-changer. From the very first bite, I could tell this was different. The flavors were rich yet balanced, the spices perfectly layered without overpowering, and each dish carried the depth and warmth that I associate with authentic Indian cooking. The aroma alone was enough to transport me back home, and the taste delivered on every promise it made.

The service was another highlight—attentive without being intrusive, with staff who clearly cared about the dining experience. The ambience was warm and inviting, managing to feel authentically Indian without going over the top.

For someone like me, who almost always skips Indian food abroad, this was a refreshing and welcome surprise. I left not only satisfied but also convinced that truly authentic Indian food can indeed be found in the US. This restaurant will now be on my list for every trip, not just to satisfy the occasional craving, but because it genuinely delivers a taste of home.

Unacceptable Service and Disrespectful Response.

I rarely write negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. The service was consistently inattentive and bad, with long delays for basic things like water, a general lack of concern for guests. What made it worse was how the staff reacted when I tried to politely raise the concern. Rather than listening or offering to make things right, they became defensive and rude.

Every restaurant can have an off day, but how a team handles feedback says everything about their values. In this case, the dismissive and offensive attitude left a far worse impression than the poor service itself.

Please find an alternative. There are so many good restaurants and sweets shops in the area.

Awesome catering. Food was less spicy. We got mouth freshners and wet wipes as well. Commendable. Highly recommended. Delivery was perfect on time.

This is pure dhaba style place. They also serve buffet at some soecific times. I had dal makhani here, with garlic naan and asked for extra onions and green chillies. Green chillies were a little weird. Also had jalebi, it was better than most other places I have tried but it was still a little thick, cooked in oil and they used orange food color in it. Food was very average.
