“Harmam’s service was really good. She served the food very nicely, and I liked her service. I will definitely come again.”
Was disappointed in their samosas. Sweets were ok. I tried a variety of their Bengali sweets and the only one that truly stood out was their pistachio based sweet.
The staff are very friendly and welcoming. It was a late lunch at 2 pm on a week day so there were only two other customers. I recommend off hours dining in restaurants! ☺️ The staff made sure I had what I needed and there was no rush to leave.
Lunch at the Kabila buffet was great! The tandoori chicken was so tender as was the goat curry. I don’t remember what the fish dish is called but I had more than one serving. I don’t know what it was about the plain naan but it was made just right, a little crusty and the right amount of salt. They have unlimited chai and that was lovely with some gulab jamun for dessert.
The atmosphere is light, bright and relaxing.

The restaurant is selling tava pulav in the name of biriyani, with all the khada masala and no biryani masala, lots of black pepper and cinnamon but no real taste, i can really guess the restaurant owns pets, parathas tells me, though i dont have problem with pets, i myself have 2, but alert for someone who isnt pet Friendly, parathas doesn't come with Dahi or or condiments but with some acchaar (news)
Only good thing is cute people serve here.

We've ordered some delicious samosas and thoroughly enjoyed. They've their very popular lunch and dinner buffet which I gotta try next. The renovation made it look even more appealing. It has got a great ambience perfect for relishing the spread of the menu! Staffs are extremely kind and go above and beyond to address the customers.

Food and ambiance is good however it costed ~$30 pp which IMO is bit expensive for the dinner experience.

Restaurantji Recommends
If possible I would have rated this place negative 5 on all aspects. One of the places you would definitely want to avoid at all cost. Staff does not care about customer, they view customer as cash cow.

I’ve had this Indian restaurant bookmarked for a while, so when the craving hit, I finally ordered delivery through DoorDash—and wow, worth the wait.
First off, everything arrived piping hot and packaged really well (major bonus points). I was pleasantly surprised to see branded containers, which already felt like a sign they take pride in what they do. The garlic naan tasted fresh, soft, and packed with flavor—no sad, dry naan here.
I ordered two different chicken curries. I was in the mood for something along the lines of butter chicken, and while they didn’t have it listed exactly, they did have chicken makhni… and let me tell you, it absolutely delivered. Rich, flavorful, and simply delicious. The second curry had more heat, and I loved it just as much—spicy without sacrificing flavor (a rare and beautiful balance).
Fremont is overflowing with Indian restaurants, but finding a really good one can be surprisingly tough. This place checked all the boxes and then some. Safe to say, this won’t be my last order.

I’ve been coming here for many years now and recently, it’s been remodeled. Not sure if there’s a new owner but I noticed there were new staff.
The dining area itself has been revamped. It looks lavish but sadly, the ambiance is not it. The music is way too loud for no reason and the light fixtures are too bright. A dining atmosphere should be quiet and somewhat dim.
The service itself was not the best. The waiters would not come by to check on us which was terrible whenever we needed assistance and they were too busy managing their dessert shop rather than attending to their dining customers.
I hope management sees this review and fixes both the lighting atmosphere and the music volume.
One last note: the logo itself does not match the interior design at all. The logo needs to reflect the new remodeling and I don’t mean just adding a medieval statue near the entrance or restroom.

Disappointing service.
We visited around 8 PM, even though the restaurant closes at 9, and the staff clearly did not want to serve. As soon as we entered, we were told to sit on one side because the other side was “closing,” which made us feel rushed from the start. They also refused to serve certain sweets that were clearly visible on the front counter. Overall, the service was unwelcoming and felt like they just wanted us out quickly. The taste and quality have also gone downhill. Management really needs to review staff behavior and customer service standards.
