Today we visited Kabila at Union City and were pleased with the experience. We ordered Kadhi Pakora, Roti, Rice, Garlic Naan and Chicken Tikka Masala. Since my wife and I are vegetarians- We could not taste Chicken Tikka Masala, but our son told us that it was very good. I found it to be aromatic. The Kadhi Pakora Kabila serves is typical North Indian Dish, made in Delhi and in Punjab. Just note that Rajasthani, Gujrati and Marathi Kadhi's are very different. This was arguably one of the best Kadhi Pakora I have eaten in America. The pakora's were soft and melt in mouth kind. The Kadhi was appropriately spiced and very very tasty. We enjoyed it both with Roti and with Rice. Though traditionally Kadhi Pakora is staple with Rice. The Roti, Garlic Naan and Rice exceeded our expectations.Unlike other dishes Kadhi requires you have previous experience of eating the same dish. This is a very delicate cuisine and requires a developed taste. For first timers who are trying it, it will be great hit or a narrow miss. Please don't lose heart and keep trying. This dish (Kadhi Pakora) trumps any other restaurant and comes very close to home made.Another point where this Location (Union City) excels is Service - We paid for food at the counter without realizing that at the counter you have to pay for ToGo items only. However, the Manager Gary changed it with a smiling face. Also we had ordered Roti and Rice for $ 8, whereas they offer Roti/Naan and Rice for $ 4.5 with any Entrée. Since we had already paid, Gary added Mango Lassi with out any extra cost. Of course the Mango Lassi tasted sweeter than usual!!!We look forward to eating here again and again.Vegetarian options: Decent Veg optionsParking: Small Complex- Parking is always available.

Chicken Tender
Sadly, this was a shadow of the wonderful buffets I used to enjoy at Kabila pre-Covid. There were the usual sauces, condiments and salad selection, and saag, cauliflower, little samosas, fried fish, tandoori chicken, and butter chicken. The food was good but missing that little something, like they had to cut corners (which is understandable these days). They are promoting their cake business, and small slices of cakes (okay) were offered with gulag jamun (first time I couldn't finish one, it was just not good). The chai tea offered with the meal wasn't the full bodied spiced tea I remembered. I hope they succeed well enough to bring things back to the quality they used to have.Parking: Drive in the parking lot shared with various businesses.

I don’t know why they call it a buffet when they out of food by 1 PM. Don’t come here. Save your money. Food was cold. Had to wait and sit for 30 minutes until next food round came out!!!! Do better!!!!!
