I was really craving a banh mi and decided to try this spot since it was close by, but honestly, the experience wasn’t great. The service felt rude from the start. I ordered, paid, and mentioned I wanted to eat in, but I wasn’t even offered water while other customers who came after me got their food and water right away. My sandwich finally came out after about 40 minutes — and it was packed to go, even though I said I’d be eating there. I felt pretty unwelcome, and the banh mi itself was just okay — definitely not worth the wait.

Late night cravings for Bahn mi. The sandwich was crisp and chicken was juicy.

Glad I ordered to go because the service was terrible and unfortunately, I won’t be returning. I ordered combo vermicelli and pho to go, and the man at the counter seemed upset that I asked for siracha and hoisin sauce, saying there was already one in the bag (there was none). Pho also did not come with standard sides like beansprouts and basil, not sure why it cost $17 for essentially noodles and raw meat with soup. Food is just mid with questionable quality.

A little bit of courtesy to the customers would be appreciated. Waiter was a little abrupt. Food was just OK.

One of the best pho places in the area. I’ve gone there countless times with my girlfriend and every time it goes, it gets more and more delicious. They have a lot of options and staff is really friendly and nice. I highly recommend it.

9/24/25 we used to frequent this place often and service and food was great. But today, my Bahn mi was not. The bread was almost like a rock (like it was put it in microwave), the bbq chicken dry, cucumbers soggy, not crunchy and I still had jalapeños in mind when I asked for no jalapeños. I probably won't buy anymore banh mi sandwiches from here. Chicken Pho was still good, stick to the pho soups.

If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese food look no further! So good and not Americanized. Every dish we ordered was so yummy. We tried #40 the beef stir fry vermicelli and the grilled beef Banh Mi and the special Korean BBQ. The pork rice dish is so yummy too.
The service is so friendly. The restaurant is clean. They make everything so fresh and each dish is made-to-order. Trust me when I say the wait is worth it! You won’t be disappointed!

I had to ask for water and it took her forever to get me water. It actually came after they messed up on my spring roll order (made me shrimp instead of veggie) and then brought out the remade order. The veggie spring rolls had huge chunks of tofu in them, which isn't my taste, and I'm pretty sure they had some sort of pork in it. 🤦🏼‍♀the Korean bbq beef with rice was good, so was the sauce. The broccoli fresh. Thai tea was good.

Recently moved to this area and wanted to try some Vietnam sandwich. Ordered one to go, the food was okay, just the most expensive option doesn’t have any real meat inside. Plus the front table guy weirdly has an attitude, while I was appreciating the family owned vibe there. Guess I wasn’t liked by this place. Won’t come again.

Came in - completely ignored. Two dirty tables sat unbussed while the front guy wandered around doing nothing. New customers arrived - still no help. Then saw staff handling food with bare, dirty hands (no gloves).

Listen, you won’t be coming here for the ambiance, decor or cleanliness. Food, that’s it. It’s flavorful though some of the meat was dry and some veggies weren’t super fresh looking.

I’m not sure if it was because it was a Friday and really busy but the service wasn’t so good. We had a party of 9 everyone got their food a different times and overall just took a really long time. The number 23 was very flavorless. For this being my first time eating at this restaurant, I wouldn’t come back. I recommend Pho Mama instead of Mai’s Kitchen.

My wife and I came here after checking out the Thai Village Cuisine next door. We were seated promptly and we ordered the spring rolls, grilled pork and grilled shrimp with rice, and grilled pork and grilled shrimp, egg rolls, with vermicelli. The portions were large, nicely presented, and pretty tasty. I would return to try out their báhn mi sandwiches.
