Mr. Pickle's Sandwich Shop - Union City, CA

On April 15th I went to Mr. Pickle to purchase 4 sandwiches. I walked in and there was only 1 customer and he was all taken care of he just finished paying. There were 4 girls working there and they were gossiping in Spanish. I didn’t catch everything they were saying but they were not happy with the management. I stood there for five minutes, and the customer and I both looked at each other and I think we were thinking the same thing. Not one of those four girls acknowledge that I was standing there waiting to place my order. They just kept working on whatever they were doing and didn’t ask to take my order. One of them looked at me but then quickly turned around and I got zero service. I ended up walking out after approximately 7 to 8 minutes and, you guys lost a big sale that day I went in for four sandwiches but when I saw your menu, I was going to get Five and feed my family and my Auntie’s family. It’s the worst feeling on earth when you go into an establishment and nobody acknowledges you. They didn’t even say “someone will be right with you.” They didn’t even talk to me. They just continued gossiping. I was very disappointed. I was hungry. I ended up walking out and going to Mexico, Lindo. That was the worst experience. I had there in a long, long time there was actually four girls there and all four of them ignored me.

Whoever is making sandwiches on Tuesday is stupid. I ordered a CJs pastrami and when it arrived it had mayo which doesn’t not come on it. If you don’t know what’s on the sandwich you should not be making it.

Mr Pickles,I enjoy going there pretty often!Good employees, good sandwiches!Sandwiches prices are just a bit over priced but I mean what’s not nowadays?Although I think the Indian manager with glasses should be more of a team leader.I’ve seen him just boss around the nice employees. He’s not fully rude don’t get me wrong! But I think he should learn how to be a leader! Overall It’s a great place.Food taste is good, not the best! But you shouldn’t be disappointed.

I ask for my favorite sandwich the same way every time. Mr Pickles has a great consistency so that I get the same delicious sandwich every time. The dutch crunch bread is the best imo.

Small quaint shop. Looks clean and we were helped quickly. I ordered the tunaand it felt like a decent sandwich until I opened there was barely any tuna. The bread was fresh and tasty but I expected more in my sandwich which I why I rated a 4. I would try it again maybe other sandwiches have more.

Parking: Large lot plenty of parking spots for all shops

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair can fit inside but counters are high. Sure then staff would help out.

The sandwich was very good (Golden Gate) and they treated me in a very friendly way. It was the first time I ate here and I will definitely repeat.
