could’ve sworn that i already wrote a review for this place but it seems to have mysteriously vanished. oh well. i won’t be silenced so easily. this place is AMAZING! had the apple pie the other day and it was a downright sublime experience. the filling was so perfectly spiced, the crust was so deliciously flaky and buttery, I could scarcely resist ravaging it like a Frenchman set loose upon a packet of cigarettes. needless to say, I will be back. and you should visit too if you haven’t!! (also first time visitors get a free cookie—WHICH IS REALLY TASTY TOO)

first time customer here: niles pie company did not disappoint! we came in on a weekend, which was disclaimed as a "low stock day," but were met with a good variety of goods that all looked and smelled very lovely. every flavor baked up seemed delicious and unique--we got to sample a ginger molasses cookie which was heavenly (for cookies, which first timers get free, you get the option to choose between soft or crunchy)!

we ultimately opted for the apple pie--we will be returning soon--which bamed up beautifully in the oven thanks to the thorough instructions of the owner! the filling was sweet, spiceful, and tender. the crust crisped up nicely and stayed robust the day after, surviving being microwaved! needless to say, niles pie will be seeing me for events in the future :)) so so SO delicious

This was our first time coming here, and we got pecan pie and meringue along with a free chocolate chip cookie as this was our first time. The pie tasted so bland, and the filling was like a thick custard. The quality of the pecan pie is really bad compared..

Must go get your freshly made pies. A bit in the expensive side, but they are made fresh and they are good!

Drove all the way out from Sacramento for my birthday celebration with family. My brother ordered me the pie in advance knowing it is me and my oldest brothers favorite!
What a disappointment 😞 it's pretty bad when my older brother said Walmart .89 cent prepacked pies taste better.
The only bright side was the apple turnover was pretty.

First time visiting. Everything was great - The Matador Steak Pie was excellent - really meaty and well seasoned.
The blueberry crumble pie was exceptional! I know my pies, and I haven't had one this good in a long time.
Highly recommended!!

The pies here are looking great. Based on the amount they bake, this place is definitely good. Well, I haven't tried the pies (strawberry, blueberry crumble) yet, but I have tried the $4 chocolate chip cookie. It is on the pricy side to me, but the cookie is quite big. I ate it as a meal lol. It is not a fancy cookie by any means. Yet once you warm it, it has the melty, soft centered, and load of chocolate you need to feel indulgence. Based on that, I am already satisfied and pretty sure that the pies are great too.

I bought cherry, apple, chocolate espresso, and steak pies for a birthday party. I was SO disappointed. All the pies were severely lacking in flavor, one had raw crust!! People at the party were shocked I had paid so much for such awful food.

called the evening befire Pi Day and was told that they didn’t have any left so O should come back early next morning where they open where they will have done in a FCFS basis. I was also told that expect to run out so better to come early.I arrived next morning at 7:30 AM right when the store opens ; and they asked me to come back at 9:30 am because they were backed up!Avoid if you have self respect.

Stopped by again, I love coming to this place every couple of months. Even if it's just for lunch, they've got options. The 9" frozen pot pies are a good deal too if you actually count how many meals you can get out of one. I'd go more often, but the pastries are too good and my calorie count would regret it.
